Guest guest
Thanks so much Chuck, I was imagining that it was a chance meeting from what was written. What an amazing coincidence, since I don't believe in coincidences, it must have been Divine intervention. I am really happy you all got to meet, and hope you continue to be friends, on and off this list. I know what you mean about guessing ages...from postings, it's kind of fun to get clues from what people post, and later find out if you were right or wrong. Hope Cheryl forgives you....LOL! I am glad you got Jill out for the day, even if it was hot, we all have to feel normal sometimes and partake of social activities whenever we can. Hope she can get some added rest today. I hope you have learned a lesson, never guess or comment on a woman's age, and you will live a long and healthy life. I have to laugh, in your letter of explanation, you referred to Cheryl as a young woman four times....I guess you are making up for your Faux Pas! Hugs, Marta >From: chuck schwartz <frg@...> > >I see that Jill and Cheryl never explained this so I'll just chime in. > >Yesterday we took our kids up to Nassau County to see the Big Apple Circus >(acutually Grandma took them while we hacked around in the 95 degree heat - >too much for Jill but thats another story). In case we haven't mentioned >earlier we live in Tick Capital of America the Hamptons on the east end of >Long Island. This is about a 80 mile drive to our house to the circus. > > >On the way back home we stopped at a Vitamin Warehouse store to pick up >something Jill needed. She went in while I stayed in the car with the >kids. I waited and waited and waited. Finally Jill walks out of the store >with someone. It turns out that it was Cheryl. > >Here's how things went as it was explained to me. Jill went into the store >and started shopping. True to form, she needed to use the bathroom so she >asked a young woman working in the corner of the store if she could use >theirs. The young woman showed her where it was (somewhere in the back of >the building). On the way out the young woman asked Jill about her pic >line (she wears it like a badge of honor plus it was too hot for long >sleeves). One thing led to another and when they finally sorted it out it >turns out that the young woman in the store was Cheryl who of course has >been communicating with Jill for the past couple of days. Amazing >coincidence - I think the chance for this is about 1 in 1,000,000,000,000. >Time to play lotto? Think about it. > >By the way, about the 40 year old thing, that is my fault. One of the >things that I like to do is to try to figure out what a person looks like >based on their postings. Needless to say I was way off with Cheryl. > >Chuck Schwartz
