Guest guest
Hi Everyone, Just a note to say, I am enjoying all the post, but having trouble with AOL. All the ususal problems, won't go into them here. I have been trying to read all posts and thanks for all the good information. I started back to school (middle school) 3 weeks ago and thought I was not going to make it. The halls are long and have been busy with all the teachers, running errands so forth. Took all the energy I saved up this summer. This caused a major relapse and I have been sitting at the machine when I can with my head on a pillow trying to get my mail off. I was so tired that when I drove home by the local funeral home, thought I would just get it over with and ckeck myself in, but was too tired to get out of the car. LOL Now both knees are super bad, got an injection in the right one yesterday, he talked knee replacement, said my knee cap was so deformed he was having trought finding the right spot for the shot. He also said SKB was in there and he told them no because he had patient very educated in lyme and the vaccine wasn't any good at this time. He said the rep had a fit. GOOD GOOD GOOD. Anyway, hugs to all and I enjoy your posts, but they have been taking so long, I have been unable to answer them. I will try and do better. Been writing nasty notes to AOL when they leave me on line long enough, hey maybe that is the problem, they know they are going to get it from me and just shut me down. LOL, Hugs and Bless to all, I don't know where I would be without this list. love, Connie, MI

Guest guest
Hi Connie, So sorry you are feeling so bad. I wish there was a way you did not have to walk those halls or even walk period. Would you be able to collect disability if you took time off to get that knee replaced??? They could not stop your health insurance then, workers comp would be an even better scenario! I know what you mean about just being able to follow the list, I owe everyone mail, I can only get on line for so long then I peter out! Great job educating those doctors, I bet SKB was angry, one less big commission check for the salesman. Hope you get AOL straightened out, they can be infuriating. Take care and try not to overdo. Guest guest
Hi Marta, thank you for the response. I could not get workers comp, tried for lyme since I was bit in school. I don't know what to do, I am the insurance earner, and my husband doesn't make that much money to hold us over until I can get SS. I am going to the ortho doc they told me I could have the Hylagan shots again in my knee, they worked for a year, which was 6 months long than supposed to. It really helped. You guys are so nice with your concern. I do not know what I would do without you. School is a bit easier, the stress with my student is straightening out, or should I say his parents " nailed " him. That was a huge problem this year. I am resting as much as I can, trying not to make too many unnecessary trips, etc. using ice when I get home and not doing anything. Have a health fair at a church tomorrow, the lady really begged, going to be on the program with a FMS/Cfids doctor, chiropractor, nutritionist., This ought to be good, I will try and be super nice, LOL. I can sit all day and wait I don't talk until 2:45. I will let you guys know how it went. Love to you all, Connie, MI
Guest guest
Good for you Reid, I haven't been writing too many letters lately, did a bunch for Dr. B, but too tired lately to do anything else. My dr. said the rep was really mad and wanted my name. connie, mi

Guest guest
Hi Connie, The rep from SKB probably thought he could convince you of the merits of the vaccine....bet if you heard from him, you would have convinced him otherwise. Wonder how many SKB reps had their kids vaccinated??? Guest guest
Hi Marta, I wonder, the next time I talk to one I am going to ask how many of them and thier family members took the vaccine and if they have any side effects. I just did a talk at a health fair today. It went really well. the Fibromyalgia doctor was super good and agreed that lyme causes FMS. I never know what my brain is going to say, I just dive right in and keep going. I make notecards, but can't seem to follow them. A few people came up afterwards and told me I did well, so it could not have been too bad. Also a couple of people displaying their supplements felt sorry for me and my pain and gave me lots of freebee stuff to try. OK with me. love, connie
Guest guest
Hi Connie, You amaze me, I am always impressed with people like you who as bad as they feel keep on plugging along to help others. I never was a terrific speaker, even worse now that I have Lyme. Yesterday I was at a family wedding, and one of my aunts announced she thought she had Lyme disease, (I sincerely doubt it though) she is complaining mostly of forgetfulness, she is in the menopausal age, and she does manage to work full time as a waitress....and we all know how hard a job that is. Anyway, I tried to verbalize my symptoms, but I was at a loss for words, and just gave up. Good thing the music was really loud, so I could avoid long, troublesome conversations. Funny how I can type out what I want to say just fine, just can't get my tongue to work. Anyway, I am going to send her some websites and a list of symptoms via email. Glad you got some freebies, always fun to get, even if you never use them.
