Guest guest
Hey everyone, I'm geno-type 1b and have had hep-c probably 20 years. My liver is very close to cirrhosis and I am currently on treatment(Pegetron). I'm in Ontario, Canada and am in the process of filling out forms for exemption for medical cannabis use. I have found it to be a Godsend with side effects of treatment and hep-c. I am not a drug addict. I used to smoke cannabis recreationally and had quit in the 80's, but since about 1990, I have used medicinally, beginning with help with sleep. Does anyone have any experience with medicinal cannabis (or using cannabis medicinally) for hep-c? Any experiences on the road to exemption? I am currently compiling facts and personal experiences to back up any discussions/arguements that may arise. I realize some may be offended with cannabis use and I don't mean to offend anyone at all. But I know that it helps me and compared to other meds, it's not hard on the liver. If anyone could give me any info/advice or personal experiences, please let me know. Thanks and take care.
