Bill, I bought it through Access Vans. They convert the vans after the

customer buys them from a Dodge dealer in Tempe, Arizona. It is a ramp van,

the passenger side sliding door opens and a ramp drops down for wheelchair

access. It may be large enough for two wheelchairs if one of them is docked

in the driver's place or the front passenger place. I live in DeRidder,

Louisiana. This is a very nice van--leather seats, CD changer, etc. It just

isn't for someone who needs to drive grandchildren to ball games, etc. I did

not realize this until after the fact. This has turned out to be the most

expensive mistake I've ever made. The day I picked it up last week was great.

I stopped in Lafayette on the way home from Grosse Tete and went shopping in

the mall by myself which I have not been able to do for a very long time. I

felt so empowered when I rolled out of that van! The next day my

grandchildren wanted to ride to the game in CC's new van. What a rude

awakening! And I have a new grandbaby on the way, no way I can put a baby in

a carseat that is in the rear seat.

I haven't looked into local Auto trader magazines yet, I just decided this

today, but when I make up my mind---that's it. C

like to sell this one as soon as I can. I'm so frustrated about this.

My husband doen't care what I do about it and we're both not happy

about losing money, but I have made up my mind and have already

started locating a new van. What's really bad is that I waited for 3

months for this one to come in and when it did I gave my old one to

my son and daughter-in-law. Any suggestions on how to sell this week

old conversion van will be greatly appreciated. >>

where do you live? did you buy it from a dealer or a private party? Is it

new or used? Do you have AUTOTRADER magazine where you live? I have a friend

looking for a van with a lift but it must be able to accomadate 2

wheelchairs inside.

it sounds like what my friend is looking for however we live in California.

Contact the dealer immediately and plead your case. By law they owe you

nothing but you never know. Maybe Access Vans can also be of help.

Good luck.
