Guest guest Posted October 27, 2004 Report Share Posted October 27, 2004 Hey, I am glad to report that both my Mom AND myself were able to get our flu-shots this year ! ! Hooray ! LOL I was lucky to have found a place that had a flu-clinic today, the person said that four more people and they'd 'have-to' start turning people away,....PHEW, just under the wire then for us both. We got there 2-1/2 hours early, expecting a LONG line down the block, but, there was nary a person 'waiting'-outside ! It was/is raining, so perhaps that had an effect on turnout ? I brought folding-chairs trash-bags, a waterproof jacket-/-sleeping-bag combination that I have, candies (sugar-free AND regular), 2 containers of popcorn, big jug of water....etc. I was READY for practically anything ! LOL Better to 'be prepared' I suppose.
