Guest guest
Hi Dave, I am familiar with the Family Medical Leave Act, the problem is that I believe you only get 12 weeks per year. I used all 12 weeks last April for the birth of my son. Hmmmmm. What I'm not sure about is if the short term, runs with the FMLA. We do have short term and I'm sure I would be eligible for it for the beginning of treatment, but I don't know if they consider it part of the FMLA. I will find all of this out. You're very lucky your boss was so great about it. Not having to worry about your job probably doesn't hurt with the success of the treatment either. The less stress the better. I can't imagine that while people are on the tx they don't comply. If they care about themselves enough to do the tx, why would they jeopardize it? It may be too much of a controversial subject, so I won't say anymore. Thanks again for all of your good advice I really appreciate it. Have a good weekend. The leaves are just starting to turn here and it is beautiful, so being outside this weekend is a MUST. Take care, Chris Thanks for responding about my stupid coworker and my upcoming > treatment.
