Great news! Keep up the good work... -dz- <chrissea10@...> wrote:

Hi Everyone,Happy Friday! I hope everyone is doing well. I just wanted to post a quick note to say I received my 12 week results yesterday and the treatment is working. My viral load before treatment was 2,700,000 and it has dropped to 645. It went down 6 logs and my doctor considers that a great sign. I will continue treatment for 8 more months. It seems to me that the side effects are starting to get a little more noticeable but nothing I can't deal with.I hope this news will give all of you starting treatment or those that are considering it, hope. Stay positive and my prayers are with all of you.Have a good weekend,Chris

Congratulations ! I am very happy for you. I found out

today that my youngest daughter and my husband are both Hep C

NEGATIVE!! Wooo Hoo! They were both a little nervous, so it was a

great way to start the weekend. I'm still waiting on my genotype.

Hopefully I will find out next week. In the meantime I found out on

Wednesday that I have a golfball sized fibroid tumor in my uterus

and will be having a total hysterectomy on August 31. I needed to

get it done before I start my treatment. So, I won't start treatment

until October. If it isn't one thing, it's another.

Hope you all have a great Friday,

Barbara

Thanks everyone! Barbara, good luck with your upcoming surgery, I

will be praying for you.

I have had little to no side effects with this treatment until just

recently. I don't know if I have a 'bug' that I can't get rid of or

its the tx, but I am sooooooo wiped out lately. It's been almost 2

weeks of this. I feel so drained I can't explain it and I woke up in

the middle of the night last night because I was nauseous. Why would

side effects kick in now????

Oh well, i am trying not to let this get to me.
