Guest guest
Hi , For a few years after my tick bite I was plagued by constant itching at various parts of my body. The worse was the bottom of my feet, as well as the thin part of my inner wrists. The itching got so bad, I would take a wire brush to it for relief. Nothing I would take would help it, creams, Benedryl you name it....it just had to stop on it's own. I did not have burning urine as a constant symptom, only occasionally I would feel like I had a urinary tract infection, back and pelvic pains, frequent urination, etc.. I saw a Urologist, had all those awful tests, and all was negative, I guess the spirochetes like to hang out in the bladder on occasion. I do hope this symptom of burning ceases for you soon so you can resume marital relations, mine never got to that point. Hopefully your doctor can help you further with some creams or something. Since we are talking personal, I will report that my husband and I use condoms now, I fear passing the disease to him, my doctor feels it is a possibility since the bladder is a place the spirochetes congregate. He was very interested in what was happening, so this next trip, he is going to do a skin test. > Does anyone else complain of crawling sensations over their skin? It feels sike they are in patches. Also, I get the same crawling sensations in my lower pelvic region. Not to mention the burning when I urinate. My doc thinks the bacteria is colonating in that area....Anyway, not to get to personal, (but this is a support group) Because of the burning irritating me, I am unable to have sexual relations with my husband...
