Guest guest
Alcohol is a little tough on your liver. They say that the virus replicates faster in the presence of alcohol, so it's especially important that you stay away from it now while you've got it on the run. This mistake won't necessarily hurt you in your fight against hepatitis, but you're taking a big gamble every time you drink. Good luck and hang in there. -dz- Hey ya'll. I know yall dont hear from me that much, but, I really screwed up lastnight and I would like to get some feedback...info on it if anyone has any or has had a similar experience. First a littl history. I have been on tx for 5 1/2 months now. My viral load was low...68,000 I believe...it may have been 168,000....im not sure. They ran a liver biopsy and my doctor said my live is in " pretty darn good shape " . So....I have been doing ok on the treatments....just the normal stuff...but I have been able to handle it. I found out a few weeks ago that my viral load is now undetectable. This was of course great news and I am happy about it. The last few weeks have been hard though. Work has been stressfull, had a heartbreak to get through, and im just getting really weary of feeling bad all the time. So I have been in kind of a funk lately. Then, the other day, my uncle who I was really close to died suddenly. It really set me back. Long story short. I wound up drinking lastnight...to the point of getting drunk. It was stupid and I am pounding myself right now. What I am wondering is how likely it is that the virus will break back through because of this. Anyone had a similar expierience or have any knowledge about this? Thanks.......
