Guest guest Posted September 22, 2004 Report Share Posted September 22, 2004 Hi Barbara, The 1st 3 months of my treatment went without any significant sides at all. The first 4 shots I had none at all and then I would experience some slight fatigue. I am now in week 22 and the sides have become a little worse but only because my red blood count is low. I will go today to see a hematologist and get put on Procrit. So you can be that lucky. Stay positive and keep up the good work. The doc told me the shots kick your butt during the first part of tx, and the pills kick your butt at the end of your treatment! So, I'm waiting to see how my blood counts will do. Week 22! Woo Hoo!!
