We have had a couple of people tolerating the sides quite well. Let's hope it continues for you. Good luck. -dz-Barbara <vynca_minor@...> wrote:

Maybe this will be encouraging for others starting their therapy. I don't know if it is a fluke or what...but I took my second shot last night. Again no pain. However, I"m not having any reactions this time. No fever, headache, or body aches. I'm not sure if I should be worried or not!! Did I do my shot right?? Or, did I get lucky?? OR, am I going to have a reaction later?? Anyone else have this type of luck?Barbara

Hi Barbara,

The 1st 3 months of my treatment went without any significant sides

at all. The first 4 shots I had none at all and then I would

experience some slight fatigue. I am now in week 22 and the sides

have become a little worse but only because my red blood count is

low. I will go today to see a hematologist and get put on Procrit.

So you can be that lucky. Stay positive and keep up the good work.

Good luck and wishing that the rest of your tx goes smooth.

take care,

Chris

Thanks for the encouragement. The doc told me the shots kick your

butt during the first part of tx, and the pills kick your butt at

the end of your treatment! So, I'm waiting to see how my blood

counts will do. Week 22! Woo Hoo!! I take it you are on the 48 week

plan, so good luck to you too.

Hugs,

Barbara

That's kind of the way it was for me. Towards the end, it was mainly the fatigue that was getting a little worse. -dz-Barbara <vynca_minor@...> wrote:
