Hi Group, a here,

How do you all know what we are dealing with? I just started to recently read

some posts on numbness. Libby's take on massage was very interesting.

For the past month or two, (14 yo) has been complaining of numbness to

the touch, of her left leg. It involves four of her toes, the top of her

foot, traveling up the front of leg and includes part of the side of her leg.

We first went to a pediatrician(we have an HMO) and he scratched his head and

said " go see her Neurologist " (which is what we were hoping for in the first

place) So, she goes to the nuerologist this Thursday. She can walk, doesn't

see to affect that any but she tells me it is getting worse and including

part of her leg. It sounds like a peripheral/sensory nerve but wondered if

there were any other takes on this?

thanks
