Guest guest
Greetings to all: I recently finished my one year of hep C protocol (interferon plus ribarvirin). To date, all my blood tests have been negative (guess the treatment worked, knock on wood). I was getting my meds from Pro Care every month, and somehow I wound up with two extra bottles (a two-month supply) of Rebetol (Ribavirin). These are SEALED plastic bottles, with an expiration date of 01/05. Each bottles is 84 capsules of 200 mg. I was taking 3 capsules twice a day (6 per day), so this was a month's supply for me. I know how expensive this medication is, so rather than just toss it, I'm offering it free to anyone who wants it. Just send me an email and I'll send it off to you. Maybe there's someone else you know who can use it. I have a vague feeling it's illegal to be doing so I'll just keep it that way - vague. I was lucky; I had insurance to pay for my drugs at 100% after a $300 deductible. I got a lot of support while I was on treatment. In the last couple of weeks my strength - physical and mental - has come back dramatically. Yours will, too! So to anyone reading this, hang in there! You can do it, one day at a time! So, let me know if you want the rebetol and it's yours, first come, first serve. Kind regards, in VT
Guest guest
Hey, . I hope this finds you well in Vermont. I bet the weather is beautiful up there. I've always wanted to go. I was just reading through all the posts trying to learn something. I realize the pills may be gone, but the info may come in handy someday anyway. I have a lot of experience disposing of unused prescription meds. I have a condition that took a long time to diagnose and excellent prescription drug coverage, so I had lots of stuff to give away! My father's Rotary Club sponsors the Free Clinic in the town in which he lives. It's run for people that have no insurance. They provide medical services and prescriptions to working families. You could call the local Health Department to see if you could find out from them if there's a family clinic in your area. Or maybe just ask around. They really appreciate the donations. They take partial bottles of antibiotics, aspirins, anything. It's so cool! They'll give you a receipt for income tax purposes, too. It's just an idea. If nobody here wants it, or has plenty, I bet someone out there could really use it. Peace, > Greetings to all: > > I recently finished my one year of hep C protocol (interferon plus > ribarvirin).
