Guest guest
The doctors/interns I see at county tell me that they will have me in for my RNA 6 and 12 months post treatment...If I make it to that year mark, I should be a SVR. But remember...these are the morons at the county facility who don't even understand the sides to Pegasys and won't treat them. Tatezi Hep B And what does the group knows about following up of SVR.s in general. Thanks Willem.

Guest guest
Hi everybody, I took my kids in last month for blood tests. Thank god they came back negative for Hep C. I felt like I could conquer anything knowing my kids are ok!!! An interesting development though is that my youngest son's test came back showing that his Hep B shots did not work. I was told that it happens sometimes and that of course we probably would never have known except for my requesting the blood test for HepC. He is currently getting a second series for B, poor guy, and we don't actually know if it will take this time. I just figured it's better to try then not. Sort of interesting don't you think? Guest guest
Hello Rhonda ! I'm still 'waiting' for my Dr. to get my Hep A, Hep B vaccine/s o start the series of shots, getting tired of 'waiting' ! ! I sure hope that 'they' get-it-together pretty soon ! ! Here's hoping that Your son's newest vaccine series does a better job than the previous ones did. Just a thought.----- Maybe ask Your Dr. if there is another source for the vaccine other than the previous company ? Catcha Later. > Hi everybody, > I took my kids in last month for blood tests. Guest guest
Donna, I'm sorry to hear of your sister's problems. While you're welcome here, you can probably find a more appropriate group. Most people in this group have autoimmune hepatitis, which is very different from Hepatitis B. I don't know which on-line group would be best for you, as I have little knowledge of Hep B. In the meantime, you might want to look for a book by Dr. Palmer, " A Guide to Liver Disease. " This is a basic, mainstream book on liver disease in general, as you would guess for the title. If you can't find it at a local bookstore, you can get it from Dr. Palmer's site, liverdisease.com, or from Amazon. The 2002 edition will cost less than $20. It's a very readable book, geared to people who are just learning about liver problems. Please don't feel that you need to leave the group, but others may be able to help you more. Your sister is fortunate to have someone as caring as you to help her through this. Best wishes. Guest guest
Thank you Harper for your response. I wasn't sure if I was reaching the right group or not. Especially since I just found out and started to do a search for support so quickly. I appreciate the book you suggested and will buy it this week. I will also look for a group who is familiar with Hep B. Thank you again for all your help & your kind words Ü. HUGS~Donna Donna, I'm sorry to hear of your sister's problems.
