Guest guest
, I'm not sure if this would show up or not. In the article I saw, it was pretty obvious. If you took a slice through the middle of your brain (like taking the top of your head off -- don't try this at home, kids) you'd see a space in the middle of your brain that's shaped like a butterfly. It's called a cistern and it's full of fluid. It's supposed to be fairly small; in this case of cerebral hypertension it was larger than normal because there was too much fluid. I think it's pretty rare and mostly found in elderly people, though. When you fall, what does it feel like? Do your knees buckle and you fall down due to weak legs, or do you lose your balance, or what? I have a weak left leg from the Lyme and sometimes it feels like my left knee is just going to go out from under me. It hasn't so far, though. I've also had some episodes of dizziness, lightheadedness and vertigo. Have you had anything like that? Jean Girard wrote: > From: " Girard " <ranlin@...> > > > I had an MRI done last fall. Guest guest
Hi I also have a weak left leg (and left arm) as well as the balance problems, lightheadedness and dizziness. The muscles in my left leg feel weak, cramped and tired. Is that how your leg feels? Does exercise or rest help? I can't believe how many new symptoms I've gotten lately. My best, Joan

It's gotten a lot better lately, though, and so have my arms. They used to tire out and cramp up just from stirring a pot of food or brushing my daughter's hair. Now they're just about normal unless I'm herxing. My legs used to cramp up and start shaking when I was driving (I have a manual shift car) and I'd have to pull over. That hasn't happened in a long time either. It sounds like you're not on enough or the right drugs! Where are you located? Jean

Guest guest
Sometimes my knee (left) gives out. Other times I just simply fall toward theleft. I fell the other day and hurt my arm. Struck it on my mom's mailbox. I feel like things are getting worse instead of better. I have been off the I.V. meds almost a month now. So by the time I get to the Hyperbaric chamber I will probably have whopper of a herks...Hugs Re: [Lyme-aid] Which ABX is right? >> >> >From: Scully <jscully@...> >> > >> >You know, , for what it's worth.... Guest guest
When I fall it is because my knees give out.. Then Sometimes I just plain loose my balance..Memory so bad, I don't know whether I am coming or going. And then when I remember, It quickly leaves me again. I think I need a seeing eye dog with ESP. Get two sturdy canes so I don't fall down and the be on my way.. the only problem then is, I would not remember where I was going.....I can not believe how intellegent..these bugs are . They are like a thief in the night....Stealing a littlte bit of our lives at a time. I can hardly type correctly anymore...everything spelled wrong most of the time....Love...
