Can anyone answer this for me?

I have FINALLY recieved my prescription for pegatron and ribavirin

after approx. 1 1/2 years of tests etc... I am going to start them

this Sunday. I have a minor concern regarding other supplements I am

taking. I have high cholestorol and I can't take any statins for the

obvious reason. So, I picked up this supplement that has

sterol/phytosterols, containing vegetable Sterol Esters (650mg,

primarily extracted from soybean oil). My question is, does anybody

know if this is alright to take with the meds or, the fact that I

have Hep C? Does this act like a statin as well? Also, are there any

other supplements that I can/should be taking other than

Milkthistle? I also got the results of my liver Biopsy and my

fibrosis level is stage 3 of 4, and I'm a gemotype 1. My viral level

is in the 300's possibly higher now. I am just glad that I can

finally start treatment. I thank you in advance for any help. Hope
