Would you believe shingles????

Hi group,

If you recall a few days ago, I posted kvetching about the burning pains,

which I thought were herx related but they seemed to get worse instead of

better. I gave in and called my doc for pain relief, they told me to come

in. Doc thinks it is shingles and rx'd Valtrex 3 times a day for a week. I

do have a slight rash under my left breast, but my doc said you can get

shingles without a rash. I have to tend to believe him because this pain is

awful. Chrissie (AREELQT3) wins the prize for guessing this may be

shingles....not sure what the prize is yet....I know, a lifetime free

subscription to one list!!! LOL!

Thanks to all for your kind comments and good wishes, hopefully the

Valtrex will kick in real soon, and I will be back to almost normal!
