Guest guest
My address is what I use to play cards. It's also what I'm signed up for in all the groups and I can't get in them either. I just need to find out how to get in touch with "Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well-preserved body...but rather to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming, WOW! Guest guest
Sara You have a way of helping me to understand that I'm a dummy in such a polite way. All I want to do is get my id back. Guest guest
I don't know what to tell you. On my computer, this message was sent from Tubs46@.... I know there's lots of phishing mail that look like real sites, but aren't. They just want to know if you're addy is good. You may want to go to the group site at Hepatitis C/ and click on "Edit membership." I'm guessing it will have your correct addy, plus you didn't mention not getting mail from the group, so sounds like you might've gotten caught in a net. No biggie, but no matter how legit something looks, do not click on the link, or do not click on the link that says, "If you don't want to receive emails like this, click here." If you click it, it will say "You've been unsubscribed," but, again, they just verified that your email is valid. I get stuff from PayPal...looks like PayPal, sounds like Pay Pal...but it's not. Hope this helps, Jane Question about . My ID has been tubs46 for about 10 years. yesterday I got an e-mail from that there were some problems with my id and if I didn't contact them it would be shut down. Of course as usual I tried to contact them and nothing would go thru. Now I can't sign on with that id. How do I get this corrected and how do I contact ? I've never seen a question or problem asked here that didn't get a answer or at least a lot of B.S. that sounded like a good answer. Hope you all have a wonderful day! Guest guest
Everything I get from you is from your AOL account. Never get anything from Tubs46@.... Check your "edit membership" from the group site, and see what your default addy is. Shoot, you can see in the Original Message below that it comes from Tubs46@.... He knew that It's just that he responded to the Phishing email he got and now his account is messed up. He was hoping that we had some advice for him on how to untangle the mess Folks, please be very careful when you get these types of emails. Most legitimate sites will not send you an email threatening to shut down your account unless you 'do' something 'immediately'... I get countless emails representing themselves to be PayPal, EBay, Amazon, and so on, that ask me for information that they should already have... ( " please confirm password " ... " please confirm secret question " ..) and it's always a spoof -- a fake email trying to get you to divulge the information. I always report these to the websites that they are pretending to be. I hope these idiots get caught and get in a lot of trouble. If for any reason you want to check your actual account, go to your browser and launch a new window to that site, and deal with verifying that your account is ok through that avenue. NEVER NEVER click on a link in one of these emails that supposedly will take you to " our website " so that you can " correct " this problem. They are VERY good at making the website look like the real thing. It's not! --Sara
