Guest guest
Hello, I just took my 4th shot. So far pretty good. I have really bad eczema on my hands and I'm trying with the help of my dr.s to figure out what's causing it. I have FMLA but have run out of vacation and sick time so I'm not getting paid right now. They won't let me work in the hospital with my hands like this. I'm so frustrated and it's so painful. I spend a lot of time crying lately. This has been going on since June. Just all of a sudden. I totally believe in spay/neuter. I've seen so much horror due to the over population of animals. I've never believed it has been harmful in anyway to my animals and it curbs ir not elliminates some of the behaviors that I feel are undesireable; spraying, aggessiveness etc. Anyway, I have one dog (we put our other to sleep last year Nov 14) and one cat, and my roomate has a dog. I rescued both my dogs and the cat and work with a rescue when I can, I trap cat's and kittens from my neighborhood. I've set up a webpage with photos if you'd like to see a little slice of my life. http://pg.photos./ph/omysister/album?.dir=/c10d & .src=ph & .tok=ph1W67BB6k8luUA7The first photo is of my and 2 friends at a concert in June, I'm in the middle. The first and second dog are mine, first one is gone. They were both rescues and the first kitty is mine also rescued off the street. the next 3 kittens were hers and the rest of the photos were some of the rescues from the neighborhood that I caught, tamed, spayed/neutered and vaccinated then adopted out with the help of a local rescue. Tucker, the last dog I took from a guy waiting at the pound to have him euthanized. 11 months old. He was simply young and needed some manners. There were other dogs but I don't have photos. I work in sterile processing and I don't understand the circumcision clamp that is used. It looks so brutal. Luckily I've not had to make the decision. My mom said in 1969 with my brother they just whisked him away and didn't ask her either way. Sharon, bless you for taking in a Quaker. I bought one a few years ago and he drove me nuts. I'm just not a bird person. Anyway I thougt I'd share with you some info I got from the breeder. If you didn't know, FWIW, He said Quakers are prone to fatty liver disease and should not eat a seed diet. He recommended pellets, I fed mine Zupreem. It can be difficult to switch them over but can be done. The pellets are much less messy too. Hope I'm not overstepping. My heart goes out to all those who've lost a loved one in this war. Guest guest
First of all go see a dermatologist. Medical Drs are not schooled in skin. Second of all don't use soap, it's too harsh and drying on the skin. Use warm NOT hot water. Use a fragrance free lotion. I prefer Cetaphil. I have even used a triple antibiotic cream on my skin when I've had an outbreak and had no cream from the dermatologist. Aveeno colloidal oatmeal Bath Treatment is helpful and soothing to the skin. It's harder to clear up an outbreak then it is to prevent one. These suggestions won't cure your outbreak but will help until you get to a dermatologist. Good luck! Rhonda [ ] Hi, spay/neuter, rescue photos, quaker parrot etc. > Hello, I just took my 4th shot. So far pretty good. He will KILL for these! He waits for me to get up and flirts with me until I get near the cage with his new food and then ATTACK! He cannot wait to tear the food from my hand and run to the other side of the cage to eat it! Now mind you he has leftovers in the food bowl and I drop more through the cage to the bowl, he's not hungry at all. Loves this new stuff though! i;d love to get a QUAKER but in n.j they are ilegal
