Guest guest
To Hanna, Edajane here. Well the period thing is out out out and has been for quite a few years. Thank God. At 59 I would have no business having it anyway. One more question. Have you ever heard of getting it from animals? My sister's son's girl friend is studying to be an RN and she says she thinks that she studied something about it somewhere. I raise poodles, have for 36 years and do everything to them from cutting tails off when pups to stitching them up when they get into a squabble with my clippers. Ha. Anyhow---have you heard anything about this? Another thing. You say you have a good book about hep C. What is the name of it? --- oceaneyes38 <hanna@...> wrote: > Hey, I woke up this morning and there was 13 > messages on my > computer.Wow!!!! Guest guest
I give Hepatitis shots in combination with other diseases from the time the pups are 6 weeks old. You know you get in a habit of doing something and don't even pay attention to what you are doing. I guess I knew that. --- Teri Covert <covert@...> wrote: > Dear Edajane..........Teri here I have a lot of > animals and was concerned about me giving it to > them, cats have sharp claws, animals do have a > hepatitis that they can get, but doesnot affect > us nor vice versa.I asked my vet. > Re: to all from HANNA > > > To Hanna, Edajane here. Guest guest
Hanna, I suffer from insomnia for many years now. I hate to take drugs like ambian, the doctor has given me it before. I hate the day after effect of the sleep pills. My husband would never allow the use the marijuana to help. He is a teacher and all substance are drugs to him. I have learned to deal with my insomnia over the years without drugs.
Guest guest
Edajane here. I don't think any of us should be shy about sharing anything we have heard or know here on this support group. Some subjects may cause a discussion but that is good not bad. Hannah, your aren't telling the whole world about this, you are telling your sisters who suffer from the same things. There should be nothing embarassing here right you all???? oceaneyes38 wrote: Hello everyone, I hesitate to put this because of subject matter, but i'm going to any way. I have severe insomnia, I am sure that most of you do too, I'm going to make this short and sweet,I will asking for ambian from my doc because I heard it's the best, but I know that there are several other things that will help sleep. Medical marijuana as I read before, Estroven gel caps for you women, 20.00 for 40, but also an sexual encounter works miricals believe or not. It's a fact. The encounter needs to followed by an orgasm to produce the ingredients needed to make you fall asleep. I read this in a medical book of mine. I hated to say this as I'm a little shy on the subject, but it may help whoever in our group is not sleeping well. Much Love hanna
Guest guest
I couldn't have said it better. This place is for us to come to, to say what we feel, get answers and chat about whatever. So all of us should feel free, to do just that Pat
Guest guest
I am so glad you stopped in and gave us a chance. We are all just a pretty neat group of friends. I too am a animal lover. I also do rescue for my breed of choice Shih Tzu. You have come to the right place if your looking for friends and acceptance and knowledge. I'd be nuts if it were not for this list. I don't have Hep C but my son does ( tattoo) and sometimes well actually all the time the list keeps me sane. Hugs [ ] To All From Hanna Hey Everyone, Thanks so much for responding to me so positively. I am thrilled we all love animals, that means more to me than you will ever know. I have always said that there is something seriously wrong with people that hate animals, and you know what? I trust NO ONE that feels that way. It's a danger sign. Someone said they liked my attitude, and that made me feel great. If anyone ever needs to feel accepted in this world and does'nt, then this is the group for them. Someone also said they treat there critters like their children, well you know what? So do I. My dogs come in and out, but 3 of my cats stay inside along with the birds, and the squirrel. It's funny, cause when I got really sick a while back, Leo, my retriever, KNEW, and bless his heart, he was actually scared. He cried a lot and layed his big sweet head in my lap. ALL of my dogs and cats clung to me like glue, following me every where, as if they thought I may die. I stayed sick for about 3 weeks and it broke my heart for them to look at me and cry as if to say" I love you Mommy, please dont leave me". I have a poem I would like to share with all of you, If I can find it, would you like to hear it? Also, I do not have mess, but I do have aol instant mess. I am lucyblue2eyes, named after my siamese cat, Lucy. I also have windows mess, and it's under hanna@... Today was a pain free day for me. Those are always my favorite days. I live with many symptoms of this virus, and somedays I cry because it can be just to much to bear. My main problem is no sleep and many days things look artificial or plastic around me. (Surreal)On those days I am unable to drive and have difficulty doing simple things, and have difficulty remmembering things. I suffer from terrible headaches, I guess because of the lack of sleep. I plan on asking my Doc for some Ambian. I hear it works really well. My pain medication does not make me sleepy. It makes me eat and clean.!!!! Well I better go to bed. You are ALL GREAT.!!!!!Talk to you all tommorow. Peace:) Hanna

Guest guest
Thanks for that information Hanna....seems so many are having limited or non existent coverages in health matters these days. My son for instance has an HMO and they will not do a thing for him but retest his blood every year. Not a viral load test no biopsy nothing. They said as long as his enzymes are what they consider to be low no treatment will be authorised. You got to know HMO's are not my favorite thing right now. [ ] To All from Hanna I thought this might be helpful for those who do not have insurance or only a small income. I can not pay for my medicine, so I am getting it free.( My Interferon/Rib) The numbers to call are 1-800-521-7157, option 2, or 1-888-437-2608. Explain your finantial problem, and they should be able to direct you in the right direction. If those numbers do not work, let me know, and I will call my nurse and find out what to do. Love to you all, Hanna
Guest guest
Do feel better Hanna. Today is a special day......Hugs [ ] To All from Hanna Hello Everyone, I hope yesterday was pain free for some of you. I felt O.K. I had a house full and things got a little touchy. I started crying because of all the stress. Now my head hurts and I have a summer cold.I just took my morning dose of lortab. I should be pain free for the next 8 hours. A lot of people depend on me. To cook, feed the critteres, clean, plus I am helping someone I know find a place to live, also in the last week there has been 6 people here instead of 3 and I am trying to be to be a good, fun hostess. I'm just tired I guess. I need some rest, but people look at me and think I'm FINE because I dont look sick. It's like a Cancer patient. Today however,I DO look sick, it has all caught up with me. They seem to think that I can go, go, go, and damnet I CAN'T. Anyway, next time I go back to the doctor I fill find out my genotype and virol load. I forgot it. I do know my virol load is sky high. Thank you all for listening, i'm so over emotional today already and it's only 6:20 a.m. Today is my daughters 14th b'day. Her name is and she is in the Honor Society. She is also a Chritian, and beautiful. No Child could make a Mother prouder. She is my greatist accomplisment. Much love,Hanna

Guest guest
Good luck Hanna, I hope things get under control and there are no more Huricanes to batter your part of the woods. My daughter and gandson live with me too, which is a blessing as she starts the new Peg Inton on Monday, at least i'll be here to help take care of my grandson and lessen her burden alittle, and support her as much as I can. Sometimes I get to feeling guilty as I think she got this virus from me or her dad (maybe using a razor or toothbrush when she was little) Anyway, May you have blue skies and sunshine(no storms!!!) and congrats on your sobriety. Guest guest
Dear , Thank you so much, prayer is needed. My daughter took her first shot about 21/2 hours ago and she is fighting nausea already(perhaps due to nerves) her nose has become so stuffy she must breathe through her mouth and this is exasperating the nausea. Thank you again, this is a difficult time for us and I just feel so helpless as I watch her suffering. It helps to know there are so many on-line friends encouraging us. God Bless, Sue
Guest guest
Thank you Terry, I have been overwhelmed by the response for prayer for my daughter and I just want to tell everyone....Prayer works, my daughter woke up with a low grade fever some body aches and by this evening she was feeling well enough to get outside for some exercise. Guest guest
Hello Everyone, thanks for replying so quickly to my letter. You are all SO supportive. I took my first shot on tuesday about 4:00 p.m. and at about 7:30 started deveoping a major headache that lasted until today. I feel pretty bad. BUTTTT, I don't feel as bad as I thought I would. I have had fever, muscle aches, I am very out of breath and tired. I almost feel as though I have been drunk for a week. My heart feels funny also. My nurse said if I have a fever of 101 I have to call the office. They called in my pain medication 4 days early. I will pick it up on Saturday. Anyway, I hate that I feel so rough, but nothing scary has happened yet and that is what I was afraid of. I just don't want to end up in the hospital. Love to you all, Hanna

Guest guest
I was on combo for 4 months I started out ok on it with fever and chills then I got worse and worse as time went on I could not work, eat, sleep, it was hard to even drink liquids. I became dehydrated and got down to 114 pounds ( I am 5' 8 " ) I was so fatigued I was not able to walk from one end of the house to the other. My doctor did not seem concerned that I was so ill I have vertigo and vomiting. I started to think it would be better to be dead and threw the medication in the trash and have never went back to the doctor since. Unless they can come up with a medication that does not about kill me there is no way I would ever reconsider treatment again. I also now have major problems with bleeding gums something that started with the combo but has never went away in 2 years. Mabe I was just one of those who could not tolerate the meds or maybe my doctor was just a jerk I don't know which. All I know is even thinking about how sick I was makes me sick to my stomach. I wish I could find an alternative treatment for my hepatitis to try if anyone knows of one please let me know I realize my health is getting worse but there is no way I would ever take that poison again.
