Guest guest
<PRE>Sharon, The best way to help my daughter is to print out letters like yours and show them to her. I know she is scared, but she is not the only person in the world who has had to face this, and it helps to hear others opinions and input. Thank you so much for helping. UNDECTABLE is a wonderful word to me right now, and I think it will be for my daughter too. FAITH is also a wonderful word, and I believe that is what she needs right now. Thank you so much, . Guest guest
Hi ...........I'm sorry about your daughter's diagnosis. She does have her age in her favor. I'm a volunteer at hep-c connection. You might visit our web site at www.hepc-connection.org. We offer a lot of information & currently have 9 phone lines available to help provide info. I'm on SSDI because of HCV, but I'm able to volunteer some time to this organization. You might check it out & use the toll free # if you have specific questions. We mail out info & provide follow-up calls. Feel well--Kitzabu jeanie kitzabu@... ICQ# 9881060 Civia, Inc. www.civia.com
Guest guest
my name is and it is my son that has the Hep C. If you are like me you are probably scared half to death don't know what to believe and not believe and all you want to do is to be the best support for your daughter that you can be. Denial is all part of the diagnosis I believe. Just listen with the heart and do try to encourage and be there..... Then come here and let it all hang out. I was where you are not so long ago myself. I am not scared I am determined now ....... > Hi, My name is and my 25 year old daughter recently found out > that she has hepatitis C. She is in denial. She is still drinking, > won't go to a specialist to get her liver checked out and is pretty > much ignoring the facts that treatments can help her. She heard they > make you feel worse. We all don't know much about the disease, but > are trying to learn. I have read some, but it seems there are a lot > of conflicting facts from each article I read, so here I am on the > internet hoping that I can find some answers and help my daughter. > Any help will greatly be appreciated. I want my daughter to live a > normal, happy life. Thanks,
