Heaven & HellWhen Seymour passed away, God greeted him at the Pearly Gates."Thou be hungry, Seymour?" saith God."I could eat," Seymour replied. So God opened a can of tuna and reached for a chunk of rye bread and they shared it. While eating this humble meal, Seymour looked down into Hell and saw the inhabitants devouring huge steaks, lobsters, pheasants, pastries and fine wines. Curious, but deeply trusting,Seymour remained quiet. The next day God again invited Seymour to join him for a meal. Again, it was tuna and rye bread. Once again looking down, Seymour could see the denizens of Hell enjoying caviar, champagne, lamb, truffles and chocolates. Still Seymour said nothing. The following day, mealtime arrived and another can of tuna was opened. Seymour could contain himself no longer. Meekly, he said: "God, I am grateful to be in heaven with you as a reward for the pious, obedient life I led. But here in heaven all I get to eat is tuna and a piece of rye bread and in the Other Place they eat like emperors and kings!Forgive me, O God, but I just don't understand..."God sighed: "Let's be honest, Seymour -- for just two people does it pay to cook?"

help support my girlfriend. We have only known for a week and I am

trying to learn all I can to support her in all her needs. We should

know more by the end of the week. I will come in from offshore to go

to the doctor with her then come back out on friday.

Greg,

I can clear my calander for Friday if she needs someone to be with

her and her mom.My husband is working for Kerr-Magee out in Garden

Banks and is coming in tonight or tomorrow, depending on if they take

a chopper in or have to ride the boat.Anyway,I'm here if she needs

ANYTHING.

I was to start treatment this past week but there was a mix-up with

the insurance people,so next weekend for me.Just let her know she is

not alone and there are really alot of people running around with

hepC and not talking because of the rejection from the uninformed. We

just have to pass on all the info we have to them.

YOUR FAITH WILL LEAD YOU,TRUST IT.........TAM

Thanks Tammie,

I really appreciate it. I told her this morning I had found a site

with others struggling with hcv and it was encouraging to see others

and talk about how they are doing and responding to treatment and so

forth. I shall tell her more and let her know what you said in reply.

Thanks again, it is reassuring to know there is some support other

than each other and reading on the net. Especially the part about

alot of people running around with hepC and not talking about it due

to the rejection from the uninformed.

again thanks,

she is scared, she said she felt dirty, and I fussed at her and said

no, she is not dirty, she is a very good, christian woman that the

Lord has directed to me. Never say that again, because the Lord loves

you and though it may be a struggle and dont understand, He says that

all things that happen have been planned by Him for the good of

ourselves or others for those that Love Him. We are living our life

as singles in the ways of the Lord as He directs us according to the

Bible, not in the eyes of the world. There will be time to please

ourselves later, for now we are continuing to live our lives pleasing

to our Lord.

thanks for all the help, concern and the support yall,

greg

I found that you could get the vaccinations at the health dept for the Hep-B shots but I had to go to either a Dr., or the infectous disease Dept at the local Hosp.. The Hosp. was quicker. Both were cheaper and far less waiting.

Hi ,

I wasn't hungry at all when I first started taking Lex, but that seemed to go

away. Now I seem to have the opposite problem. I haven't had any of the

sexual side effects. In the beginning I had myself so " scared " about having

them that I was making it happen....but once I got over the worry about it

everything has been fine, no problems. The first thing I noticed with Lex was

that a " fog " immediately lifted. It was great. I had never taken an

antidepressant before and this has been a life saver for me. I'm finally not

constantly worrying about everything, not paranoid about little stupid stuff,

and am not feeling hopeless anymore. I wish I'd gotten it earlier. I am just

hoping that it continues to work for me, I hear a lot of people talk about meds

that quit working for them. It does take the 4-6 weeks to get the full effect.

I went through a few days sometime in the beginning when I thought I was back

tracking, some of the old feelings came back, but that

didn't last. Then things just kept getting better. So you might be prepared

that that could happen. Just hang in there. Don't psyche yourself out about

some of the side effects. Good luck!

is good. also...i haven't been hungry?? i didn't read anything about

that being a side effect...but I haven't been hungry since I started

taking it. anyone else experience that. also scared about the sexual

side effects..can anyone tell me that they didn't notice a difference

or that that part goes away eventually

It still makes me a bit tired a few hours after I take it, but if I take it at

night I can't sleep. Go figure.........

As far as sexual side effects I can only speak from my male perspective, but

at 10mg it did not affect me in any way except that it takes longer to....

well.... finish.
