Guest guest
Dennis sounds like a good time, We use to camp in northern Az up around Flagstaff it is 20 plus degrees cooler there in the summer, but we never hiked in. We had our pickup with a slide in camper, we just drove into the camp site. Ton's of people head north to Payson, Pressoct, Flagstaff & several other areas in northern Az. On Suday afternoon's Monday's on a three day weekend, the two north south bound highways are bumper to bumper headed south after a weekend in the nice cool mountan air. Guest guest
I pack much the same. My son is happy to roast hot dogs over the fire every night if I let him. We aren't too far from a town, so I can go in and pick up some hamburger while there. What you call horned pout, sounds like what we call bullheads. I go up to the Eagle River flowage, there are like 28 lakes all connected by the river. Lots of bass, bluegills, perch, etc. I caught a musky last year, but I don't really fish for them. I'm too lazy. I like to soak a worm or minnow and catch the rays. We bring our bikes and do some riding. My son is like a fish, he can swim all day, so I'll go for a short swim and then sit on the beach and get some reading and relaxation in while he flops around. -dz- Dennis <dhuber@...> wrote: 31 days until mine. We took my nieces up Trail Ridge Rd when they were little They lived in Cedar Rapids IA and came out over the 4th of July that year. She asked me what we were doing for the 4th. Guest guest
Some people don't respond to treatment. So they can go through all those side effects with no results. Also Not everyone is a " sustained responder " . In other words, they respond but not long after treatment is stopped, their viral load goes back up. Guest guest
Jan, that is very sad. I think we ALL see our future when we meet someone in that condition. I know it makes me fight harder to stay on this treatment. I've felt so good the last couple of days, I really don't want to do that shot tonight. But I want to get as well as possible. I hope they can put this woman on the transplant list. Sharon --- Jannewilms43@... wrote: > Hey everyone I am HOME!!!!!!!! I miss all the nice > things there but there's > no place like home!!!!!!! I have one that is supposed to be easier to clear, but have not been able to. I responded but was not able to get rid of it after 14 or 15 months on the Interferon Ribavirin combo. Guest guest
The treatment is a little tough on everybody. Some people react so strongly that they can't take it. Others can take it, but it is uneffective. It's a chance we all take going on the treatment. It sounds like Jan's friend simply didn't respond to the treatment. On the treatment I took (the old combo) 40% did not respond and another 30%, after responding, relapsed. The numbers have improved with the new combo. Where if you do the math, the old combo bragged only 30% with a long term response. I think they're between 50 & 60 % long term response now. -dz- debbie henning <giglebutt2002@...> wrote: Hi ,I'm just curious as to why janes friends body rejected the treatment and can that happen to anyone? Guest guest
Hi, , I have one that is supposed to be easier to clear, but have not been able to. I responded but was not able to get rid of it after 14 or 15 months on the Interferon Ribavirin combo. Your experience shows once again that reactions and responses are all over the map. I have type 1, am in my 9th week of treatment, and my doc says my enzyme count, or whatever, is down. It's still too early to tell for sure, but it does look as if I'm responding to treatment. I'm sure that in a few years there will be new drugs and new protocols, so although you didn't respond to the Peg-Intron, you have a good chance of finding something that WILL work. Regards, Re: [ ] Camping :-) Hi ,I'm just curious as to why janes friends body rejected the treatment and can that happen to anyone? Giglebut imaganeer <imaganeer@...> wrote: Well, welcome home! I know as much as I like visiting and vacations it is always nice to get back home. I will pray for your new found friend and hope that they either come up with a new tx that she can respond to, or she gets on the transplant list. Guest guest
Here, too, so if want fireworks I have to walk across the state line to NH -- about 15 minutes from my house --where dealers can sell them out of pickup trucks. Re: [ ] Fwd: Re: [HeppersUnitedPrayerGroup] Prayer for rev ... I hope you're enjoying your time out there, however brief. You needed a vacation! I'm counting down to mine, 24 days and counting, I'll be up in the north woods, fishin' and laying in my hammock and lounging around. -dz- Jannewilms43@... wrote: Thanks Terry..My mother-in-law has a jacuzzi...Well need I say more?? Guest guest
To my understanding there will be no fireworks of any kind permitted in the state this year. I was so looking forward to going to Loveland CO they always put on a fantastic display. I will miss them. Re: [ ] Camping :-) that's like smoking..You can buy cigarettes in almost all stores but you can't smoke in them..That doesn't make any sense either..Being a smoker myself if I can't smoke in your store then I can't buy cigarettes in it either but I do fully understand about the fireworks..We here in Eunice Louisiana can have fireworks..They have a big 4th of July fireworks display in town but all of the area is sprayed with water by the fire department first.. Guest guest
I think I will be content to watch National Displays on tv this year..... I can't imagine who in Colorado or Arizona or some other drought states would even consider a sparkler. Re: [ ] Fwd: Re: [HeppersUnitedPrayerGroup] Prayer for rev ... Guest guest
It is better to miss the fireworks this year, then to risk another fire, but I know what you mean about missing them. I will miss them to. Like I said last night, in Az private fireworks have in banned seance before we moved here. Most of the city's & town's in southern Az have banned there public displays for this year. All of the town's & city's in northern Az have banned them this year. They said tonight on the news. That the Show-Low fire is now 120,000 acers after two days. There is another fire to the east, the two are headed towards each other & both are out of control. They are saying when the two merge "not if but when" it will be 300,000 acers. There's already 35.000 forched from there homes & about three small town's that are no longer. The fires are about a 7 hour drive from Phoenix and you can see the smoke from here. It is so dry they say that the tree's are dryer then kiln dried lumber. I don't know what's going to happen if we don't get some rain soon.
