Guest guest
Thank you very much.......sounds like you had agreat Easter Holiday...wish I could eat pork again<g>!!!!! But Dr's say it's taboo for me & this lousy liver!!! I tend to get sick of turkey & chicken! Hope you had good luck with replacing truck's alt. Have a great Spring & summer....It's been just beautiful up here in OR. this past week I don't miss the rain @ all... Am even thinking of possibly wasshing & waxing my truck...it sure needs it ( we live on a gravel road!) Am now using my new PC which Ken built me for our Anniversary It's a Pen4 1.8 gigahrtz.... it's got the DDR instead RAM for memory..which makes it 4x faster than the one I was using(Ken's) Pen3 866mghtrz I just love it!!!!!!!! & of course Ken too!!!!! Peace-Hugs-Happiness arlene [ ] Easter & then an Anniversary!!!!! Hi Everyone!! Hope all of you had a great Easter Holiday today!!! We had a fine day @ the in-laws(ken's folks). Even took Ginger with us.... & of course she was making the rounds --just trying to find someone to give her something to nibble on! But everyone knows that's a big NO-NO....... she is allowed no human foods except for fruit & veggies. Has Jan made it home yet????? Diane - glad to see you're back with us again! It's now time to let you know that tomorrow 4/1 is our Anniversary(Ken & mine) We got married on April Fool's Day (I told Ken he'd have no way of forgetting THAT date! I didn't use the PC for over 6 months...the encephalopathy made it so I was a real basket case & couldn't remember Jack Sh-t!!!!!! Fortunately my Doc got my meds just right & I've had no more problems (I should say drastic problems) - just the usual CRS & I guess I can blame that on age??<g> We're going out to dinner tomorrow evening too....... nothing Hi-Brow or like that as we try to go places where I can select what I'm able to eat...rather than ordering a full meal.... those days are long past!! Guest guest
I got in to see denturist the next afternoon...but allday Monday & most of Tues I had to go w/o..... he uses a special glass something or other to fix...I thought about using some superglue..though! But I am now feeling a lot better.... on Monday & Tues I didn't take in enough fiber or protein nutrients & that kinda messed up my internal functionings...which is always a bummer!! arlene [ ] Easter & then an Anniversary!!!!! Guest guest
Hi Terry & Susy.....It was #18-- we've been together for 19 yrs..... but it took Ken over 6 months & a hernia(me) to finally get married...... found out several years later he tricked me by telling me I could get the hernia repair(his ins.) His ins would pay for it IF we were married...Of course I was & had been in love with him- but didn't wish to get married again(why ruin a good thing)!! I'd been married twice before- 5 stormy years the 1st & 3 weeks(nightmare) the 2nd...... but I guess the 3rd time IS the charm!! We have stood by one another thru thick n' thin.....good times & bad(hard luck) The weather has been nice(upper 60's & low 70's) Ken got off earloy today(only worked 8 hours) & asked if I was up to going for a m/c ride...so we rode almost to the coast(on the WA side of Columbia R. Stopped by some friends who also belong to GWTA- she's the Chapter President--and discussed our upcoming ride to Winnamucca, NV @ the end of May...sounds like fun...I'll have to work extra hard @ staying healthy---I really want to go on this ride!!!!!! Hope this finds your memory doing a whole lot better..... I have to take Neomycin 6 pills per day to be able to have my somewhat memory..certainly don't wish to end up in hospital again this year(from encepalopathy)...@ hospital they make you take Lactulose & it's just AWFUL!!!!! Take Care arlene Re: [ ] Easter & then an Anniversary!!!!! Arlene Happy Anniversary, how many years. Susy & I just had our 24th Anniversary on the 24th. One more year to the big 25. Guest guest
dz-- Too bad about your monitor messin' up on ya!! Do you mean you're going to have to replace your monitor??? We go to Fry's electronics & they have 19" monitors for about $150-------- Ken just got my new PC workin' tonite had some video card problems...but it works like a dream machine now & it's is soooo fast! I just love it!!! Hope you get back on regular real soon Peace arlene Re: [ ] Easter & then an Anniversary!!!!! Hi Arlene. I had a good Easter. We didn't do anything special, just church and a ham for dinner, but it was very nice. I tore my pc apart again. My monitor's hookup busted a pin and to take the cord off I had to take the monitor apart because there is a second part of the cord which goes inside the monitor and had a 20 pin connector inside of it. I can't imagine why that wasn't two pieces, but now I have to go try to replace the whole thing... Drat! We expect Jan back in a couple of days. I fired up the smoker and cooked a big pork roast. Had a couple of friends over and had a very nice dinner. The weather was real nice and I enjoy cooking out doors in the spring and summer months. Guest guest
Hi Terry Actually the weather is good enough to cook outdoors almost all year round. Sometimes in the winter it gets a little colder than I like. [ ] Easter & then an Anniversary!!!!! Guest guest
, I don't have that problem in southern Az. In recent years our coldest morning lows have only been down in the mid to low 30's. In my 21 years living out here I haven't seen any morning lower then mid 20's. But it has been 10 or more years seance I have seen it lower then the low 30's. I know that I have said it before, but the day after I retire I will be backing the U-Haul up to the front door & moving out of Az. Guest guest
Arlene, I am #2 For Susy. Her first was with a man who got his fun beating up on her. Then when they had christina one night he started beating up on her. She left him the next day. Shortly after we were married I addopted it wasn't hard to get the S.O.B to sighn the pappers he didn't want to pay his child support. Susy is my first. Terry ACE <arken@...> wrote: Hi Terry & Susy.....It was #18-- we've been together for 19 yrs..... but it took Ken over 6 months & a hernia(me) to finally get married...... found out several years later he tricked me by telling me I could get the hernia repair(his ins.) His ins would pay for it IF we were married...Of course I was & had been in love with him- but didn't wish to get married again(why ruin a good thing)!! I'm glad your doing better. This last week my memory has been real bad. Having a hard time doing anything. Terry ACE <arken@...> wrote: Hi Everyone!! Guest guest
I found a used 17" for $75. It's working fine. My old monitor was a 15" so I'm enjoying the larger screen. Now I'm battling with my car. I had it in a couple of weeks ago for an oil change and general checkup. I needed new brakes and a new engine valve to the tune of $900. The day before yesterday it left me stranded at work. My wife came and got me. Had them replace a fuel relay switch for $100. Now I'm still having problems and think I need a new fuel pump. $400. I am not a happy camper. It's only money, right? -dz- ACE <arken@...> wrote: dz-- Too bad about your monitor messin' up on ya!! I can only access from work currently, so I may be on and off for a while too. -dz- ACE <arken@...> wrote: Hi Everyone!! Hope all of you had a great Easter Holiday today!!!
