Guest guest
Yes many men across the web post they were told they are suffering from Depression when they seen a Dr. and he could not figure out why they felt the way they do. Most of them go on TRT and stop the AD meds for some like myself it was hard coming off them meds I need help had to go into a Rehab Hosp. for 30 days. I was not on one med for depression but many they just kept pushing them on me when they seen I was not getting better. I was told I am Bi-Polar, suffer from Major Depression and when I did not get better and my BCBS asked about my treatment they were paying for the dam Dr. told them I like feeling like this. For me most of it was very bad Fatigue, Brain Fog and Panic Attacks. Going on TRT and getting my Estradiol levels down I was able to go back to work after being off work more then on for five yrs. I feel real bad when my Estradiol levels get to high you need to check them. When they go up your SHBG gose up and this binds up the Testosterone in your body and it becomes useless. So to feel better get your Total T levels up into the upper 1/3 of your labs range. Keep your Estradiol levels down to about 20 pg/ml so your getting good night time and morning wood. And if your Adrenals and Thyroid are good your going to feel good. Most men are put on gels starting with 5 grams but they are not testing fast enough to see if it's working you can end up lower then you started if the dose is not enough. Some men the gels don't work it can't get through there skin if you have this problem then switch to shots. Have your Dr. show you how to do the do your own shots starting with 100 mgs / wk. or 50 mgs 2x's a week. Don't let a Dr. tell you to come back in 6 months for labs. You need to do labs every 8 weeks until your levels are up and you feel better. Here is a good link to read and if you go to the Files or Links Section from the home page you will find ton's of info like this go there and read and learn the more you learn the better off you are with your Dr. you will know what he is talking about or if he knows what he is talking about. http://www.griffinmedical.com/male_hormone_modulation_therapy.html Co-Moderator Phil > From: Shaun <shaunskel@...> > Subject: Low t and bi-polar > > Date: Saturday, August 21, 2010, 10:27 PM > Phil in your testimonial you talk > about how many doctors made you think your low t was all in > your head.
