What is Indoplex/DIM and what is TRT? What is PureRip (? spelling)? And how are

these drugs given?

Years ago I went to an endocrinologist and he told me that my testosterone was

normal but that my estradiol was very high. He didn't recommend any treatment.

Since then I remarried and my libido has gone down steadily to nil. I also

don't get morning wood and if I eke out an ejaculation the amount is very small.

I spoke to my internist and he prescribed Testim 50 mg once a day. It gave me a

weird feeling - sort of shaky or woozy - so I stopped it as it was hard to

concentrate on my work. I wonder if all the testosterone is being converted to

Estradiol. I asked my internist some time before if he would prescribe Arimidex

for me as it prevents the conversion of testosterone to estradiol, but he

wouldn't. At this point I don't know how to find an endocrinologist here in the

Boston area that is knowledgeable about this field.

Complicating the picture is the fact that 12 years ago at age 62 I developed a

skin lymphoma and I have been taking Methotrexate since which has kept the

lesions at bay. I also think that drug decreased my libido even more than it

was at the time and I believe it sped up my hair loss. At this point I don't

really care if I ever have sex again, but my wife who is ten years younger does

care.

Any help you guys can give me would be appreciated. I'll have to get used to

looking at my email, which I never did before.
