Guest guest
Of course this pertains to health insurance, but when I tried to get life insurance after my husband and I married it was difficult. I had worked many years for a company with numerous employees. Never had to have a physical etc. We were just enrolled in the health and life insurance programs. It was after I left this employer that we married. I wanted to be carried on his health and life insurance policies. Because of CMT, I had to have a complete physical and evaluation by my neurologist and he had to write the life insurance company. It was rather a lengthy process, but I was persistent and it paid off. Hopefully, I will never have to drop the life insurance. Speaking of insurance, does anyone have assisted living or long-term care insurance? Just wondering. ----- Original Message ----- From: Gretchen Glick <liliwigg@...> < > Sent: Thursday, February 01, 2001 11:45 AM Subject: [] Genetic Discrimination > (Interesting about genetic discrimination, law and health insurance. ~G) > > http://www.geneletter.com/04-01-00/journalwatch/discrimination.html > >
