Guest guest
Hi, Charlie & I decided to go to Niagara Falls, we were supposed to go Friday night, but had to go Saturday instead because of the weather. We had to go through Buffalo, and they had the thruway shut down. It normally takes us 2 hours, but it took us 4 1/2 hours. We had to get off the thruway because they had it shut down, and they told us there was no way to get to the Falls. We stopped & bought a map so we could figure out a way to get there. They had ALOT of snow, but if they would have kept I-90 open, it would have kept everyone out of the side streets. We sat in one place for 45 minutes, we were behind a semi from Ontario, Canada, so once we got going again we followed him. We got to another on ramp for I-90, and there wasn't a police car there stopping us, so we got on (it was bare) and then had no problems getting to Canada. Charlie takes his 3rd shot tomorrow (he in taking Peg-Intron), the first week he was really sick, fever etc., but last week he felt ok after the shot. We are hoping this week is like last week with the sides. Darlene
