Guest guest
Hi Carolyn SundayI wanted to share what worked for me after reading your post about what you are doing to fight yeast. Bravo, by the way!I used homemade kraut. It is packed with so many good bacteria that it will give a herx reaction when you first start eating it, (I don't know if that (herx) would true for you, after all you've already done to balance your gut, but kraut would still be beneficial). It's easy to make, and delicious, and there is a truck load of info on the web. Just don't try to use store-bought kraut, it has been pasteurized. Also I took enzymes specifically designed for Autistic children to kill yeast and process the left over material. And lastly I take Iodine daily, and that really helped to keep my bacteria balanced. -- Warmest Regards,Robin LittleI am working pre-emptively right now prior to starting LDN to reduce gut yeast. I have been taking Three Lac and soon I will be adding another probiotic. I have completely illiminated white starchy foods and sugars and I am really pushing veggies and lean meats, and certain nuts (not peanuts). Also, I got rid of coffee and all alchohol, and of course I do not smoke. So when I start I should be a " clean slate " . Also I have never been on any of the drugs on the no no list. I feel better already just from doing these things. Thank goodness that we have the information out there about the things such as the candida connection. Thanks, Bren, Carolyn Sunday
