With the help of Phil and others on this board, I'm finally feeling better, but

I'm having a problem with my docs.

Here's where I'm at:

Low T - so I'm on Testim.

Hypothyroid - so I'm on Levothyroxine.

After starting those 2 I didn't feel great, so I started self treating with

Isocort.

BINGO!

Seemed like low cortisone was a major component of my situation.

I begged my doc to give me cortef, but she only came through with 7.5 mg/ day.

It does nothing, and I have to take additional Isocort to feel half way decent.

I explained this to my doc and she's refusing to up my dose. Instead, she wants

me off of all cortisone for a month and have my levels tested.

Maybe this is reasonable, but I don't want to feel crappy for a month - then who

knows what happens after that? Trust me. It's bad.

So, do I continue Isocort

OR

Buy some cortef from ADC and try to get my dose right?

OR

Bite the bullet and go off for a month and get tested?

OR

Dose myself, then test after I feel right to see what my levels are?

What do you all think I should do?
