Guest guest
I visited my doctor yesterday and asked him about HRT that I heard about from a friend. It's supposed to be " bio-identical, " but he said it is not and made some good points about trying to get hormones that way. (What lead to this is that I have been uninsured since last July after being laid-off from my former job, and I can't afford to pay for Androgel outright). He mentioned that there is only one FDA-approved hormone replacement which is like the bio-identical stuff. He said a urologist has to do it, but he didn't give me the name of it. Would anyone happen to know the name of what he's talking about? I would appreciate it. Fred
Guest guest
Well he is not up on what he is talking about there are a ton of meds for low testosterone and if your not under a health care plain do Depo Testosterone shots get a 10ml. vial of 200mgs/ml doing a shot 100 mgs .5 mls a week can last you 19 weeks cost is less then $100.00. I am sure guys here can help you with this the word Bio. is a buzz work some Dr.'s use to sell compounded testosterone but all Testosterone is made from the same plants Yams. In this link it's for women that want to become men but it's full of good info and lists all the diff. kinds of TRT out there. You need to run from this Dr. and don't see a Endo or Uro for low T problems they are not good Dr.'s for this. http://www.ftmguide.org/ttypes.html#cypionate And read this link so you can learn about low Testosterone in men this way the next time you talk to a Dr. you will know if he is up on this. http://www.griffinmedical.com/male_hormone_modulation_therapy.html Co-Moderator Phil > From: Pastor Fred <fmcqueen1@...> > Subject: FDA-Approved Hormone Therapy > > Date: Tuesday, April 6, 2010, 1:32 PM > I visited my doctor yesterday and > asked him about HRT that I heard about from a friend.
