Bill Arimidex has a half life of 4 days so if your low start with .25 mgs every

other day and follow this cut and paste so you don't go to low.

How To Take Arimdex and not go down on your Estradiol to Low.

What I found is if you go to low taking arimidex, it's the length of time your

to low, if your too low say for 8 weeks it can take your body a longer time to

make more Estradiol. Bottom line is to know how not to go to low. Keep a log on

your dose and how you feel men going to low can't get it up taking Viagra. I

went to low when I first tried Arimidex and did not know about going to low or

how one feels to low, so I was low a good 8 weeks. I did not know I was low

until my next labs.

The best gage I have found to control your Estradiol levels is to gage your

night time and morning wood. At good levels or what I call the sweet spot you

get your night time and morning wood back so strong it will wake you up and you

can hang a coat on it.

Most men do good taking .25 mgs or 1/4 of a 1mg. pill, I use a pill cutter to

cut the small pill in half then I stand it on the cut end and use a single edge

razor to cut this in half. A good way to take arimidex is by how high your

levels are. I tested over 90 pg/ml so we tried doing .5 mgs every other day

after 8 weeks my next set of labs showed it did not move below 90, test said

>90. So we did .5 mgs. every day in about 2 weeks I got some strong night time

and morning wood back after not having them for many yrs.

I kept doing this dose and in 8 weeks my next set of labs said <20 back in the

day labs were like this they did not have to good labs we have today they could

not read lower the 20. My Dr. told me this looks to low to stop taking the

Arimidex. The one thing I noticed was my wood stopped and stopping the Arimidex

my wood came back in about 7 weeks my next test at 8 weeks was 24 pg/ml. So we

went back on the Arimidex but the Dr. told me to take .5 mgs every 3 days I was

on this dose not a week and lost wood. This is when I figured out going to low

you lose wood. And the longer your too low the longer it takes to get levels

back up.

I stopped the arimidex right away and got my wood back in 4 days. I then after

playing with the dose for a time found the best dose is .25mgs every 2 to 3

days.

So lets say your labs are less the 50 pg/ml if your take .5 mgs you can go down

so dam fast your miss the sweet spot of your wood and go to low. It's best with

lower levels 50 and under to do less Arimidex .25mgs every 2 days if later your

lose wood when it comes back go to every 3 days.

I have found estradiol is the hardest hormone to control, it goes up or down

from month to month some times I need .25mgs every 2 days other times I need

..25mgs everyday most of the time I do well on every 3 days.

So between wood and labs I do great and so do most of the men I have told this

to. I keep a log on how much I am taking and how I feel. Doing this and reading

back in my log I was able to tell when I was going to high or to low my Dr. lets

me dose my arimidex by how I feel.

Over the yrs. I have posted this story until I am blue in the face.

I take 60mg(.30cc) Test C(200mg) every Tuesday morning and every Saturday

morning; HCG every Monday, Wenesday, and Friday morning .70cc(700 IU); and

ardimex .25 every other day, I just put it in my pill box on Sunday night for

the week. I have morning wood EVERY morning since on this protocal.

I have only noticed a slight increase in testical size since taking HCG(8

months)DR. said my boys went from 5ml to 10ml, and now 1 is a 12ml; not exactly

where they were, but I honesty never noticed the size until I went to the endo

and the uro and they said the size; I then found out what normal was 15ml-30ml,

my wife has never complained.

Yes, every shot is 700 IU's; I have been on this protocal for the last 1 month;

7/26/10 test was 592 and 4/22/10 only doing HCG was 333. When I started HCG in

January ,I was on 10mg of Angrogel test went up to 356(oly on Androgel) to 806

only doing HCG M,W,F, and sometimes Saturday; test range at Quest is 250-1100.

I started to have a lot of anxiety in March, so I decreased down to 500 IU's and

got a script for Test C (200mg) 75mg shot once weekly. I have increased my HCG

back to 700 IU's and gone to 2x per week of 60mg total (30cc 2 per week) so I'm

doing 120mg per week total (60mg x 2). I just did another blood test yesterday

so I will see the numbers come back in a few days. I'm still not 100%, I say 80%

there.

I was told on 8/1/08 of low T, when I asked my primary Dr. to do a Testosterone

test and the test came back at 248. It has been a long 2 years of educating

myself and my endo's just to get HCG, Arimedex, and Test C. I have not gotten

the right protocal yet, but heading down the right path now.

This group has been so valuable to me from the knowledge from Phil and others

that a Thank You doesn't cover it, You are changing Men's and their spouses

lives for the better; this group has given me hope that I will have my life back

to close to normal very soon; someone should tell men and wifes that getting

your hormones in check doesn't happen overnight, it has been a 2 year struggle

for me, I think 6 more months and I will just have to maintain to my blood test.

I take my .25mg ardimex at bed time every other night; just re-read your

original message. My E2 has been the lowest of 21 on 10/3/2009, and a high of 41

on 2/12/08, 7/24/09 and on 7/26/10. Still trying to figure E2 out.

I do both; this month I'm trying SubQ, last month was IM; I have not noticed a

difference. When doing Sub Q, I use a 1/2 " 28 G needle; when doing IM, I use a

1 " long needle and 25 G needle.

I am trying both methods and recording my finding.

I received a shipment of the pre-mixed HCG from ADC and I'm trying that this

month. 1st month trying it; labs will tell if it is working.

Wow Don that's great to hear Dr.'s never told me how big my testis got but they

were the size of small grapes before I started on HCG. But I do a lot less HCG

then I started on. I started at 500 IU's 3x's a week. Then when I switched my

Test C shot to every 3 days I did 400 IU's the 2 days each in between my Test C

shots. Now today I do 250 IU's the day before my Test C shot.

I can't help but think my Testis are not using up the HCG like they did when I

first started. Today I can feel my Estradiol levels going up after an HCG shot.

I am going to talk to my Dr. about stopping HCG for a time to see if this helps

with my problems with Estradiol. Right now I am taking .5 to .75 mgs of

Arimidex everyday to keep my Estradiol levels down. I don't know to many men

needing this much.

I was doing 1 shot of Test C (80 Mg) once per week with 2 shots of HCG at 400 iu

on days 5 and 6. Tested on day 4 and total T was 1050.

 

Currently dropping to 40 mg once per week with the same HCG protocol.

 

I get a lot of E2 with the HCG. Take 0.5 mg of arimides every other day.

Considering going back to my original protocol which was a 50 mg Test shot twice

a week and no HCG. This kept me in the 500-900 range for Total T. Still had to

take some arimidex but not much.

I don't test on Day 4 my Dr. wants me to stop HCG no shot of it the day before

labs and he wants me to do labs the morning of my next T shot. He was keeping

me up at about the mid 800's. Then when he added HGH he lowered my dose of HCG

from 400 IU'd the 2 days each in between my 80 mgs Test C shot every 3 days down

to 250 IU's the day before my Test C shot. Then my labs were still up in the

800's he lowered my Test C shot from 80 mgs to 70 mgs. I do labs every 8 weeks

and my levels started to come down some but not bad on the 3rd. set of labs

after lowering the dose my levels fell to 500.

And I feel Fatigued and have sore joints and muscles so now he upped my dose of

Test C back to 80 mgs. I still after 6 weeks on this don't feel back. I know

from past times of changing my dose it takes months to get back.

After some reading at Dr. 's forum about Pregnenolone I am going to try it

again but the cream.

The last time about 5 yrs ago that I tried Preg. it was a pill you put under

your tongue. It drove up my Estradiol levels big time. I here this dose not

happen on the creams.

Phil,

The Dr.s didn't tell me outright, I had to ask them after they did the exam; the

first time the endo was surprised that they were so small 5ml, and made a note

in his file, he didn't tell me what he wrote. 8 months later they doubled in

size to 10ml, he said we are on the right path.

I need to ask about less HCG, or no HCG at all; but I surely will lose the boys.

Well I do know if ones testis are not up to it doing HCG will convert into

Estradiol. I need to stop using it to tell if this is what is going on. I have

been having this problem for 10 months now. I use to only need .25 mgs of

Arimidex every 2 to 3 days but in the past 10 months I have needed .5 to 1mg

everyday.

I can't help but think my Testis are Desensitized to the HCG I was doing.
