Guest guest
My levels on my first set of labs were 120 I could have sex with my wife 3 X's a week at age 40. But I was feeling feelings like depression, fatigue, brain fog and the list is dam long. I got so bad I could not work. Yes you can have low T and have good erections it is low or very high Estradiol that give most men ED and loss of there sex life. Men with levels as low as his shorten there life end up with a lot of health problems later in life. I had to have heart bypass surgery do to my low hormones for so long. You need T good levels to support your joints and muscles and his heart is a muscle. http://www.griffinmedical.com/Low_Testosterone_equals_low_quality_life.htm http://men.webmd.com/news/20070605/low-testosterone-may-up-male-mortality?ecd=wn\ l_men_072407 Co-Moderator Phil > From: mysticgrl77 <mystic_pizza7@...> > Subject: " Rising question " > > Date: Thursday, October 14, 2010, 10:15 AM > Just had a question ive been reading > on some posts that if your able to get erections your E2 is > in a good place...is that right? because suprisingly my > husband can get an erection it seems almost anytime ... his > T is very low like 130.He will soon start on the androgel. > Do erections have to do with his E2? because my > husband swears nothings wrong with His Testosterone > because he is still able to get erections eventhough > his labs say otherwise. > > Thanks, > > > > > ------------------------------------ > >
Guest guest
, I unintentionaly drove my E2 all the way down to six and I still had OK erections when I wanted one. So that dosn't allways work for everyone. Guest guest
Brett what was your SHBG when your E2 was this low and you had erections. The lower your SHBG the lower you need to keep your Estraidol. On avg. men with SHBG mid rage go to low and lose wood below 15 pg/ml. My SHBG is 18 I need to keep my Estradiol levels below 20 or I am to high. Guest guest
Phil, They didn't do SHBG when that test was done it just says Estradiol Ultrasensitive LC/MS/MS reference range <29 pg/ml Now that was the only time they did that same test. More recently they did " Estradiol " 34 range 13-54 pg/ml. Then SHBG was 19. I am confused about this, which test is the 4021 that we want? The guy that took the blood said it was the 4021. This latest one was done after I had stopped taking the DIM for a few days because I thought I had gone to low. I am back on it now. In most of my tests my SHBG has run between 19-24. Is that good? Guest guest
Here in this link it talks about all this. The Ultra test of <29 range has a lot of problems. We don't run this test anymore a lot of men got labs back saying there levels were <2 this is not possable yet they charged for it. When they sent my labs back saying less then 2 my Dr. call a rep. he knows at Quest and this guy told him they are having big problems with this new test. It got so bad Dr. stopped using them the Senitive Estradiol older test is what I use #4021 this is not the Ultra test the range on this test is 13 to 54 pg/ml. Dr. use's Labcorp now I don't like them. The higher your SHBG is the more your Testosteron in your body is bound up not working. Lower levels like you have are better. http://www.griffinmedical.com/male_hormone_modulation_therapy.html Co-Moderator Phil > From: Brett Savage <brshop@...> > Subject: Re: " Rising question " > > Date: Saturday, October 16, 2010, 8:01 PM > Phil, > They didn't do SHBG when that test was done it just says > Estradiol > Ultrasensitive LC/MS/MS reference range <29 > pg/ml Now that was the only > time they did that same test. > > More recently they did " Estradiol " 34 range 13-54 > pg/ml.
