Guest guest
Digging in my paper archives..... Pay attention to Estradiol, and changes in that. S-Testosterone and SHBG and the resulting FREE TESTOSTERONE INDEX which is the total of those two, and other stuff too. S-Testosterone: 16 (8 - 35 nmol/l) S-Cortisol: 636 (250 - 750 nmol/l) S-Homocystein: 7.4 (5 - 15) S-FSH: 1 (<12) S-LH: 7 (<12) Prolactin: 218 (<700) - WAS NEVER HIGHER. S-FSH: 1 (<12) S-LH: 4 (<12) " February 2008: BAD Thyroid starts. The Endos removed T3 meds, and made me take first more T4 then less and less T4 with their goal of stopping all Thyroid meds for me completely. 23rd of June 2008 Technical info: I was just taking T4 at the time. S-Testosterone: 15 (7 - 35 nmol/l) S-SHBG: 25 (8 - 60 nmol/l) 14th of July 2008 Technical info: Just taking T4. S-Testosterone: 13 (8 - 35 nmol/l) S-SHBG: 18 (8 - 60 nmol/l) S-Estradiol: 0.08 (<0.18) S-Cortisol: 549 (250 - 750) Free Testosterone Index: 7.4 (2.3 - 9.9) 2nd of February 2009: Technical info: T4-only and nothing else. S-Testosterone: 17 (8 - 35 nmol/l) S-SHBG: 19 (8 - 60 nmol/l) Free Testosterone Index: 9.3 (2.3 - 9.9) S-Cortisol: 427 (250 - 750 nmol/l) 16th of February 2009 Technical info: T4-only was all I took. S-Testosterone: 17 (8 - 35 nmol/l) S-SHBG: 19 (8 - 60 nmol/l) S-Free Teatosterone Index: 9.3 (2.3 - 9.9) 3rd of March 2009 Technical info: I was just taking T4-only at the time. I did FEEL horrible, for some reason. Probably Adrenal Fatigue, undignosed at the time. S-Testosterone: 14.7 (8 - 35 nmol/l) S-SHBG: 19 (8 - 60 nmol/l) Free Testosterone Index: 7.7 (2.3 - 9.9) 22nd of June 2009 Technical info: Started HC 8th of June 2009, and was at 10 mg HC on the day of this blood draw. S-DHEA-Sulfate: 7.2 (1.6 - 12.0) S-DHEA: 12.6 (5.3 - 31.7 nmol/l) S-Testosterone: 14.0 (8.0 - 35.0 nmol/l) S-SHBG: 17 (8 - 60 nmol/l) S-Cortisol: 257 (250 - 750 nmol/l) OK!!!!! That's what I found - Imagine typing all that on an iPhone! Took a few hours! Does anyone have anything to say about my DHEA level back then before I was on HC, DHEA and Testosterone replacements? And also what about the changes in my testosterone level, from otimal Thyroid in 2005-2006-2007-beginning of 2008 then I had bad Thyroid (and possibly lower Testosterone due to this!) since February 2008 til today? I am trying to figure out if I need to take Testosterone and DHEA replacements OR if I can live without them! The bloodwork above should give some clues. I should probably send all this to Hertoghe as well. Main Q: DO I NEED TESTOSTERONE AND DHEA SUPPLEMENTED OR NOT??? Sendt fra min iPhone
Guest guest
Here is what I know and see. 1. taking this much T3 40 mcgs will drive up your SHBG in time and this will bind up what Testosterone you have. 2. From the start your S-T levels are to low 16 in my units is 467. Most good Dr.'s will put a man this low on TRT your levels are that of a man 75 to 84 yrs. of age. I have a chart that I can't up load here. When your levels were at 22 your still low enough to feel bad men age 55 have levels like this. Testing Testosterone at different times of the day off TRT the later in the day the lower the levels. On TRT if you take your meds and do labs your going to get a higher level. 3. As you can see off T3 meds your SHBG came down. 4. You can't tell what Cortisol levels are on HC or taking any kind of supplement that will have Cortisol or HC in it. All your last lab told you was after taking 5 mgs your Adrenals are still working and your not on too much or shut down. 4. I don't know of anyone ever saying they felt better on DHEA supplements. You need to show this to your Dr. let him balance you out and in time your going to feel better.
