Guest guest
Hi Dan don't do shots this big every 2 weeks your levels will spike even higher after 3 days only to fall very low by your next shot in 2 weeks. This big shot most of it will convert into Estradiol and your levels will shoot up. You will be on a roller coaster ride up after the shot only to fall way to low by the next one. And your blood can become thicker. Your best bet is to do your shots every 3 days this way your levels will be even. I read some yrs. ago Dr. Shippen was doing this to his self he was doing 80 mgs every 3 days. My Dr. let me try this and it was the best thing I ever did. I have been doing them this way for over 7 yrs now. So 80 mgs every 3 days is about 200 mgs / week try doing 70 mgs. Adding HCG might bring your T levels higher I am not sure your higher levels are bad for you is your feel good at them 950 keep at it. My range with Quest labs doing this testing. Estradiol sensitive Code #4021 Testosterone, Free, Bioavailable & Total LC/MS/MS Code # 14966X. The top of there range is 1100 I keep my levels between 800 to the mid 900's. So if your testis work and your Secondary going on HCG can bring up your levels higher. If you can't get HCG from your Dr. buy from the ADC here is a link if you buy it from them get the 2000 IU's that come with a vial don't buy the ones that come in amps. The diet people using the HCG diet are having good luck with the Premixed Vial of Hucog 2000 IU's. https://www.alldaychemist.com/688-hucog-2000-iu-.html I can't say this works just don't under stand how they can mix it and it keeps. I use Novarel my BCBS pays for it and I get from MedCo it comes with bacteriostatic water when it's mixed it keeps in the fridge 30 days. The water that comes with ADC HCG is for mixing and using it that day after this it not any good so if you get the kind that needs mixing you need to buy some bacteriostatic water. Most guys get this from Ebay it comes in a 30 mls vial and keeps in the fridge so you can use it until it's gone. If your going to buy from the ADC try the kind that needs mixing first. Corion 2000 IU's of Ovidac 2000 IU's. So you can see how it works then if you want try the Premixed brand. Here is a cut and paste on mixing it. ================================= BTW...the water you need to reconstitute HCG is bacteriostatic water. Calculating HCG: There isn't a specific ratio of cc/ml to IU. It depends on how you mix it. It's quite simple. If you dillute 5,000 IUs HCG with 5ml (cc) solvent, the end result is 1,000 IUs per ml (cc). Divide the same 5,000 IUs with 10 ml (cc) and the end result is 500 IUs per ml (cc). Therefore, a large part depends on the concentration of HCG per ampoule or vial. Mixing HCG: (Items needed: bacwater h20 and some 5ml emty vials-get****). 1) Open hcg/amp with powder 2) Use a syringe to pull out 1cc of BacWater and put in amp with HCG 3) It will instantly dissolve 4) Then Use an empty 5ml vial (sterile and sealed) put 4ml of Bacwater in the vial 5) Take syringe and ad the mixed HCG solution to the 5ml vial 6) Shake it and you have 5000IU's of HCG 7) Than draw 1cc and inject 8) put the rest in the refrigerator •The reason your discarding the amp of solvent cause its made for 1 times use and you wouldn’t be able to refrigerate it and use it a week later again. That’s why you need Bac H2o. •The most common side affect associated with HCG is gynecomastia. The concurrent intake of Nolvadex with HCG prevents gynecomastia, prevents/minimizes leydig cell desensitization and contiues the stimulation of pituitary LH once HCG has been discontinued. •HCG will last approximately 30 days if mixed with Bac h2o instead of the solvent it comes with. •You can keep the mixed hcg in vial or pins In the fridge till use --------------------------------------------------------- If you use HCG do a 250 IU shot the day before your next shot if you go to every 3 days. If you stay at every weeks then do a 250 IU's shot the 5th and 6th days after your T shot. Don't do 200mgs shots every 2 weeks this is old and dose not work even in the AACE Guildelines it states to do shots every 7 to 10 days read page 11 print this give it to your Dr. http://www.aace.com/pub/pdf/guidelines/hypogonadism.pdf One more thing labs goof up so much my Dr. will not change my dose of meds on one set of labs. He will wait until my next set to see if it is true. Guest guest
Thanks for the info, Phil.  I do feel great and have for sometime on 200mg T shot every week for nearly 2 yrs. It's just my current labs showed my T level at 960 w/range of 350 to 890ng/dL. My doc immediately had his nurse call me and tell me to back off to shots every other week. I have new labs scheduled in about 3 weeks, I think. I felt really good especially with 960 T level but my doc will not let me go to far above the upper third. He has let me climb a little but he will not let me keep a high T level. I wish he would.  I am guessing my T level stayed that high in between weekly shots because I took arimidex for the first time just 3 or 4 times after my T shots leading up to my current labs. Anyway, he does not know I took arimidex. I might tell him, I know he will flip out.  My main reason for wanting to try hcg is my testes seem/feel a little smaller and doesn't hang down as much.  Dan > From: Dan Lee <nvestnyuth@...> > Subject: want 2try hcg > > Date: Tuesday, July 6, 2010, 11:16 PM > Phil, >  > Hello, this is Dan from Virginia. >  > I want to try hCG. Can you send the link of exactly what > you think I need. I'm 41, 5'9, 200lbs. I've been doing > 200mg T shots weekly for nearly 2 years. Been on TRT for > just over 3 years. I have had great success on TRT with > only taking DIM w/Indolplex and just recently, trying > Arimidex. My last labs showed T level around 950 which my > doc changed to 200mg every two weeks to bring it down. His > nurse called and told me so I haven't talked to him. I > know this is not correct but for now, I'm going to ride it > out until my next labs which is in about two more weeks. > He is not up on TRT, I know. >  > Anyway, I am clueless on hcg. Just recently, felt like > the " gonads " have become smaller. Can you suggest of > exactly what I need? >  > Thanks, >  > Dan > > >    > >
Guest guest
Dan if your levels went up after taking arimidex this happens high levels of Estradiol bind up Testosterone and getting them down your Total levels can go up a little but your Free will top out. Just cut back on your dose per week from 200 mgs to 175mgs. You will not feel this drop had it will make your Dr. happy. Guest guest
Do you recommend I go ahead and get hcg?  Dan > > > From: Dan Lee <nvestnyuth@...> > > Subject: want 2try hcg > > > > Date: Tuesday, July 6, 2010, 11:16 PM > > Phil, > >  > > Hello, this is Dan from Virginia. > >  > > I want to try hCG. Can you send the link of exactly > what > > you think I need. I'm 41, 5'9, 200lbs. I've been > doing > > 200mg T shots weekly for nearly 2 years. Been on > TRT for > > just over 3 years. I have had great success on TRT > with > > only taking DIM w/Indolplex and just recently, trying > > Arimidex. My last labs showed T level around 950 > which my > > doc changed to 200mg every two weeks to bring it > down. His > > nurse called and told me so I haven't talked to him. > I > > know this is not correct but for now, I'm going to > ride it > > out until my next labs which is in about two more > weeks. > > He is not up on TRT, I know. > >  > > Anyway, I am clueless on hcg. Just recently, felt > like > > the " gonads " have become smaller. Can you suggest > of > > exactly what I need? > >  > > Thanks, > >  > > Dan > > > > > >    > > > >
Guest guest
Yes read what Dr. Johh told me so I could get my Dr. to let me try HCG. Going on HCG I found out I am not Primary I am Secondary. =================================================== He probably feels that since you suffer primary hypogonadism (I am guessing) there is no use in adding HCG to your protocol. There are several reasons why this is not so. First, you have not lost all Leydig cells, so any HCG you take will stimulate those who still function to produce endogenous testosterone. This will support testicular size. We should not ignore this aesthetic consideration. Next, if he reads my work, he will learn that HPTA-suppressed (as all TRT patients are to some extent) also suffer decreased pregenenolone levels, which is the first step after CHOL in all three hormonal pathways which begin with CHOL. HCG increases pregnenolone production, and therefore restores a more natural balance of our hormones. Next, nearly all TRT patients who add in HCG to their regimens report an increased sense of well-being and also libido. These are genuine quality of life issues. Finally, I just instinctively do not want all those LH receptors (including those we have yet to discover and appreciate) unstimulated.
