I know it's the glans in the head but how can I make TSH number higher to stimulate the Thyroid gland better? CAN we affect TSH? Guest guest Posted September 4, 2010 Report Share Posted September 4, 2010 Tsh raising is your pituitary telling your thyroid to make more or less thyroid. Tsh is a poor marker of thyroid production as it only measures your pituitary output. Some people have very low tsh but yet are still hypothyroid. My tsh stayed low even though I have hashimotos, probably due to hemochromatosis.
