was in his office he talked very little. SORRY, I'M JUST NOT SMART ENOUGH TO

SHUT ME UP! LOL He asked why I

was there and I told him he was recommeded by Phil and I

was looking for a Dr. that would analyze all my hormones

and balance them. He looked at the 2 years worth of labs I

brought in and entered them into his computer

while I sat there with very little conversation AM I SUPPOSED TO BE ABLE TO BOIL

DOWN A REAM OF LABS WHILE ENTERTAINING YOU? OR DID YOU WANT ME TO MAKE

MISTAKES?. He gave me

a physical and told me to wait for the blood tests and the

Rhein 24hr urine hormonal tests before he would say anything YES-I DO NEED TO

RUN APPROPRIATE AND SUFFICIENT LABS (FEW DOCTORS KNOW HOW TO RUN WHAT WE NEED

BEFORE YOU COME IN) BEFORE TREATING. I had to

pay $225 for a Rheim 24hr urine hormonal test because it

wasn't covered by insurance I AM NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR WHAT YOUR INSURANCE DOES OR

DOES NOT PAY FOR. EACH PATIENT IS GIVEN THE CHOICE OF RUNNING THE GOLD STANDARD

RHEIN URINE PANEL, OR LIMPING BY WITH LESS. IT'S ALSO A HECK OF A GOOD PRICE FOR

28 ASSAYS. Dr. Crisler also give me a

form for blood work labs that I took in my city. He wouldn't

let me see the lab results before he talked to me. THERE IS A VERY GOOD REASON

FOR THAT. FIRST, I DO NOT HAVE TIME TO SIT AND LISTEN TO A PATIENT'S OWN

INTERPRETATION OF HIS OWN LABS. THAT IS WHAT I DO. THE INTERP OF THE LABS IS AN

ART TO START WITH. AND I HAVE FOUND PATIENTS WILL TEND TO " MATCH " THEIR SYMPTOMS

TO THEIR LABS, AS THEY DO NOT KNOW HOW TO READ THEM. THIS IS DETRIMENTAL TO

TREATMENT. IT'S ALSO WHY THE FIRST QUESTION I ASK ON FOLLOW UP IS " HOW DO YOU

FEEL " BEFORE TELLING THEM WHAT THE NUMBERS ARE. SOME ARE ABSOLUTELY CONVINCED

THEY HAVE TO ACHIEVE A CERTAIN NUMBER, WHEN EVERYONE HAS THEIR OWN " SWEET SPOT "

WE ARE TRYING TO FIND. In order

to discuss my lab results with him, which I had not seen so

couldn't form any intelligent questions about them, YOU DON'T NEED TO " FORM

INTELLIGENT QUESTIONS " PRIOR TO OUR MEETING. AND I AM HERE TO TREAT MY PATIENTS,

NOT TEACH THEM ALL ABOUT TRT. NO DR COULD GET THROUGH HIS DAY LIKE THAT I had

to pay him $60 for a phone consultation A FRACTION OF WHAT OTHERS AT MY LEVEL IN

MY FIELD CHARGE, AND THEY WONT FOLLOW PATIENTS THIS WAY BECAUSE IT'S SO

for the first time silently in the phone consultation which

lasted a total of 10 min. THAT IS 50% LONGER THAN THE AVERAGE DR/PT INTERACTION

him how was my thyroid hormones, he said fine. I asked him

how was my E2, he said fine. WHAT PART OF " FINE " DON'T YOU GET? WHAT MORE DO YOU

NEED TO KNOW? THERE ARE OFTEN OVER A HUNDRED ASSAYS PER VISIT. AM I SUPPOSED TO

EXPLAIN EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THEM? WHY DON'T WE INSTEAD CONCENTRATE ON THE TESTS

WHICH SHOW ISSUES? He said I should start HCG

250Iu 2x a week. My testicles have not shrunk from TRT and I don't relish the

thought of injecting HCG 2x aweek for life so f..k that. WELL THEN, MAYBE YOU

SHOULD NOT FOLLOW MY ADVICE, AND ENJOY LESS HEALTH AND HAPPINESS. LOL OR PERHAPS

YOU ALREADY KNOW MORE ABOUT THIS STUFF THAN I DO? THERE ARE VERY GOOD REASONS

ACCOMPLISH THOUSANDS OF TASKS PER DAY. PROBABLY EVERY BUSINESS IS IN THE SAME

BOAT, which they

charged me $5 for, FEW WANT LABS RESULTS, IT IS AN EXPENSE TO THE BUSINESS, AND

I HAVE TO PAY MY STAFF TO DO THAT. I noticed that the blood labs did not

include T, Bioavailable T and E2...how did he know my E2

was ok? BECAUSE THE BEST MEASURE IS BY THE RHEINS. OR DID YOU THINK YOU KNOW

MORE ABOUT THE SUBJECT THAN I DO? AND WHY MAKE YOU SIT THERE TO DRAW EXTRA

BLOOD, AND WASTE PRECIOUS MONEY FROM OUR HEALTH CARE SYSTEM. The Rhein 24hr

excreted in 24hrs but not the level. YOU DO NOT KNOW OF WHAT YOU SPEAK. AND I

me $35 shipping and handling. THE ORDER FORM CLEARLY STATES $20 FOR SECOND DAY,

OR $25 FOR OVERNIGHT. THAT IS WHAT THE SHIPPER CHARGES, NOT US. WE DO NOT MAKE A

PENNY ON IT. IF THERE WAS A MISTAKE, PLEASE LET US KNOW. WE WILL BE HAPPY TO

INVESTIGATE IT. BTW, THIS IS THE EXACT SAME CHARGE THE PHARMACY CHARGES, SO

THERE IS NO INCREASE FOR THE CONVENIENCE OF US TAKING CARE OF THIS FOR YOU.
