Phil:

What are your comments on this statment ? I got it from a bodybuilding website.

" I have been dealing with an estrogen testosterone imbalance problem for the

last few months. On the suggestion of my doctor I am taking chrysin to inhibit

conversion of testosterone to estrogen, DIM to inhibit the conversion of

estrodiol to the bad form of estrogen, wild oats to decrease sex hormone binding

gobulin to increase free testosterone, stinging nettle root to increase free

testosterone, and saw palmetto to inhibit the conversion of testosterone to DHT.

I also take zinc. It seems to be working. "

Do you think we have to take all those supplements ?

Also, Here is a link to High Estroidal.

This is an old on going argument about supplements to lower E2 levels. Chrysin

we use to use some 15 yrs ago to keep Estradiol level down and it worked great

but it was Compounded into a cream with other things in it. The lab that did

this needed to make it in a large amount that was not selling so they stopped

making it. At our Brother Forum

Alt-Support-Impotence-ASI/

they had the recipe for this and about 7 yrs ago we tried to get a Compounding

lab to make it. He had the same problems getting the supplements to make this he

needed to buy in bulk amounts that cost a lot of money. The only way they would

compound this would be if we paid for it up front. We put out an post to see

if guys wanted to chip in for the cost and it did not happen.

After yrs of trying different supplements this was the only thing that worked.

I am sure the only the thing them guys needed to keep E2 down was the DIM. The

rest will do nothing and it's not good to take supplements to control SHBG one

needs to get Testosterone up and keep E2 down and let SHBG find it's own level.

Saw Palmetto only will lower DHT in the prostate it will not lower DHT in your

body and taking this supplement it is hard to fine a good one. Then when you do

it dose not help your Prostate. Getting E2 levels down will help most men with

BPH.

There are adds that sell SP that are so strong they mess up men's sex life much

like using Propecia does.

I feel Arimidex is the best way to go and not it come in a generic and the cost

is way down. If your find your going to low on arimidex get it Compounded and

take a small amount everyday.
