Guest guest
The fifth of my army of doctors that I asked gave me a prescription. Skip's said I should have my order next week (1.5 mg - month 1). My neuro, who knows me well, and who I respect greatly, was opposed to it (I can't wait to tell him I'm taking it. Ugh.). Besides FMS, CFIDS, and the usual players; i.e., IBS, migraines, asthma, nightly leg spams, major insomnia, interstitial cystitis, Sjogren's, depression (of course), and new back problems (had a series of lumbar epidurals recently, also periodically receive trigger point injections for neck and back pain), blah, blah, blah, I have some weird esophageal dysmotility problem, demyelination, two pituitary tumors being watched (just had annual brain MRI) and dysautonomia (small fiber neuropathy and neurocardiogenic syncope). Am on 12 meds and more supplements. Since the doctor who gave me the prescription is more familiar with Naltrexone as used for rehab, and not the uses of the Low Dose form, does anyone see any obvious reason why I SHOULDN'T take it (I'm so excited to try it, but didn't get a good answer out of my neuro as to his objection)? I understand the dosing schedule and feel I have learned enough to know what to expect and what not to expect. Thanks!!
