Guest guest
I have been on TRT gels before, and was to begin test cypionate injections today. My doc's assistant phoned in the RX for me, as well as syringes. As caregiver for two cancer patients, I've given many injections of other drugs before, and am not completely ignorant (I hope), but I am not able to draw the liquid into the syringe. The prescription I recieved was for the Testosterone and a pack of 3ml 25g. 1 1/2 inch needles. Those are the only needles provided. Nothing is pulling back into the syringe. I would have assumed what was provided to me would have worked, or been all that I needed. If this is something I am doing wrong, I will feel like an idiot (yes the pull back top is off the vial, and the needle is fully in the liquid, tried holding bottle upside down, pulling back a few times, just a tiny drop will go in). So am I right that 25g will work fine for the injection, but NOT to draw the medicine? I thought I read that the liquid is thick and had to be pulled via a bigger needle. If so, what size should I ask my doc for to draw the liquid? Will I need another RX for other needle size, or can I just go to the pharmacy to get it without prescription? If I need a RX, thats another several days to turn that around, *sigh* Pharmacy closed at this hour, so will have to start next week. Ready to feel better, in Atlanta, GA Thanks so much for your advice.. Clint
