The diet is called the ketogenic diet., not the ketonic diet We consulted via phone many times 1971-1975 with Dr Freeman on the use of the high fat ketogenic diet that needed in hospital evaluation and treatment at that time. This is unlikely to represent a direct effect of LDN on the disease process, but rather reduction in the irritability in nervous tissue surrounding plaques.
