Did yu see the show 28 days?? I remember when the counselor said get a plant and take care of it for 1 year..If it lives then try to find a relationship..One poor guys plant died after just a couple of weeks..He started crying and said he'd never get laid like that!!! LOLThat taught me to take things one day at a time since I'm not good with plants either!!!!

I had to crawl out here to check a few e-mail..... Been up all night and

day with the worst stomach pain.....Headache and vomiting... Got the

whole nine yards that go with the bug...... I caught the web bug!!!!! I

couldn't drive cause I am so dizzy, (from being sick ;o) so I bundled up

and made my son drive me to vote..... They took one look at me and said

uh oh, she isn't smiling......... They knew I was sick..... I had to do

my duty and vote..... Now I am going to go let ths bug run it's

course...... Be back when I am up to it..... Miss you

all..................

Talk about Anthrax.... They shut our post office down and cleaned up the

machine..... A few days of no mail...... I talked with my mail man today

who was wearing gloves.... He told me that it (the machine) was taken

care of in a special way and it was safe now.... Well tonight while

listening to the news it seems our post office's main branch is closed

again..... The dumb ass's cleaned the wrong machine.... Kinda scarey

isn't it? Now -dz- has me wondering about anthrax. How stupid can they

be???? And who in the world was in charge of the clean up?????

I hate it when one of my kids asks a question....looks at me...and then says now don't lie ok......My son use to tell me if I lied I'd go to where the devil is...He was about 5 at the time..Now when I tell him that at 12 he says Mom I don't fall for that one as easy anymore.....

Probably was some federal employee. Some of the most incompetent people get

the important jobs. I'm not implying that all federal employees are

incompetent. I know many that are very good at their jobs. I was even one

during the Gulf War. Don't know if I was a good one or bad one. I got laid

off after 6 months. the war didn't last as long as they believed it would.

Good point. We sometimes that while they don't know a

lot about the world around them in their youth, they

are at birth as intelligent as we are (or maybe even a

little more.. If we try to feed them a line of bull,

it won't be long before they're on to us. I don't

think we should tell them everything, but what we do

Remember you're talking about a government project. We

now get all our mail (at work) pre-opened. I'm not

sure if that is legal or not, but that's what they're

I guess it's my turn - I came home sick from work at noon. I have flu

symptoms - hope it's not. Ironically I got my flu shot this morning. I was

sick before that though. It's chicken soup & bed for me now.

I don't think that it is legal for anyone to open your mail if you don't

want them to. Unless you happen to be in jail. they open all incoming and

outgoing mail there.

That's what I thought, too. I'm not sure if business

mail is under any different guidelines, I know they

can listen to our phone calls and monitor our emails

if they so choose. -dz-
