Guest guest
He may have other issues that are going one that needs to be addressed. In younger guys the problem goes alot deeper then just TRT. Older guys just give them testoserone and majority of them feel better automatically. My email is hardasnails1973@... please contact me for details. > > > > > > > > > > My dad isn't to happy with his doctor. > > Does anyone know of any good > > > > > Dr's in central NJ, or southern NJ, near the > > Toms river area? > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > ------------ --------- --------- ------ > > > >
Guest guest
I still think the doctor's at Summit Medical Group should be checked out - just go onto the Summit Meidcal Group's web site and see what they offer. Can't hurt and it doesn't cost anything but time to do the research on the web. ________________________________ From: hardasnails1973 <hardasnails1973@...> Sent: Mon, November 2, 2009 11:25:07 AM Subject: Re: Doctors in NJ  He may have other issues that are going one that needs to be addressed. Guest guest
Yes, but what are your qualifications? How many years did you study medicine and what degree did you receive at the end of your study? > > > > > > > > My dad isn't to happy with his doctor. Guest guest
Which of these doctors have you seen? What kind of care could I expect? I am curious if any doctor in this group treats adrenal issues, goes beyond measuring TSH and T4, will treat high male E2, believes in treating males with hCG... these are kinds of qualification testing that I look for now-a-days. I could use a good doctor in NJ that takes my insurance , the reason I ask.
Guest guest
We specialize in adrenals, thyroid, and sex hormones and accept many PPO's insurance some times you may have to pay out of pocket to get teh answers you need. Endocrongolongist does not beleive in adrenal fatigue and many treat by TSH only. We treat via symptoms using lab tests as diagnostic tools. > > > > > > > > > > > > My dad isn't to happy with his doctor. > > > Does anyone know of any good > > > > > > Dr's in central NJ, or southern NJ, near the > > > Toms river area? > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > ------------ --------- --------- ------ > > > > > >
Guest guest
I work in team with an MD who has been practicing for over 30 years. I think that is qualification enough and also many people here have been already to see us. We take a systematic approach to getting people well. > > > > > > > > > > My dad isn't to happy with his doctor. Guest guest
I go to Dr. Bauman. He was recommended to me by my primary at the medical group when my previous endrochriologist left NJ for an out-of_state practice.. He looked at my last bloodwork and agreed that what had ben prescribed was the correct dosage but recommended the pump rather then the androgel packets. He was very pleasant, explained to me what to expect - all in all I found him to be very easy to talk to.   ________________________________ From: <kevinh@...> Sent: Mon, November 2, 2009 7:27:15 PM Subject: Re: Doctors in NJ  Which of these doctors have you seen? Guest guest
Dr. Overbeck and HAN are VERY thorough, interpret the data and act accordingly. They've done right by me so far. I've been to enough bad doctors, they're not of that sort.
Guest guest
Don't get me wrong, I am not questioning Hans clinical experience, his dedication, or the doctor he works with. My only question was regarding the Summit group doctors that were suggested. Most doctors in NJ are lacking in HRT expertise! > > > > > > > > > > > > > > My dad isn't to happy with his doctor. > > > > Does anyone know of any good > > > > > > > Dr's in central NJ, or southern NJ, near the > > > > Toms river area? > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > ------------ --------- --------- ------ > > > > > > > >
Guest guest
I'm not saying that qualifications are the be-all and end-all. However, at least one piece of advice you gave out on this forum was, in my opinion, extremely injudicious, and not at all befitting for someone who has, in his own admission, thirty years of experience. Also, what do you mean by a 'systematic approach'? To me that's just jargon and, as such, meaningless. Doesn't every health practitioner take a 'systematic approach'? Or do you mean 'holistic'? > > > > > > > > > > > > My dad isn't to happy with his doctor. Guest guest
It seems to me that a request for educational and other qualifications is wise and reasonable. The evasive response was a little disturbing. > > > > > > > > > > > > > > My dad isn't to happy with his doctor.
