The normal only look at the TSH. Free T3 and Free T4 are very important, that is the unbound thyroid hormone in your blood stream. I pray you get a doctor that will get you proper treatment. An ultrasound is another useful tool for checking nodules. Kate Kate While you may have had a bad experience with an Endo,such blanket statements do more harm than good. Endos are trained in all hormone related illnesses. Mine treats my Diabetes and my thyroid condition with the same overall competence. Judy [Editor's Note: I agree, Judy.
