Guest guest
Funny, me too. In fact, I was in denial for along time because my psoriasis wasn't that bad. I just started getting this small rash on my scalp off and on since the age of about 20. It would go away for up to 2-3 years. No one ever diagnosed it as psoriasis, I was told It was eczema or dermatitis. And no treatment ever really helped. I mean, sometimes, it would just be a tiny sore on my scalp. But now, as my PsA has progressed, the rash has gotten TONS worse on my scalp. I even went to see a dermatologist about 3 weeks ago, because I am losing so much hair around it, and he said it was Dermatitis. It's not, but apparently this is a common mis-diagnosis. And, unless, you doctor knows that psoriasis doesn't always have the silvery white appearance, then They won't know either. So then I think back to other rashes, and I don't know if they were psoriasis Or not. Anyway, I WANTED TO TELL EVERYONE THAT I STARTED METHOTREXATE 3 WEEKS AGO, and IT IS HELPING A LOT!!! IT IS THE FIRST THING THAT HAS WORKED!!!!! I START HUMIRA WITH IT TONITE, AND I AM VERY HOPEFUL.
