Guest guest
Hi, I'm new to this group. My mother has been suffering from psoriatic arthritis for 30 years now and has tried every treatment available throughout these years. Not that many, right? Up until 10 years ago she was a patient at Emory in Atlanta since the onset of the disese. She was told by many doctors there that hers was the worst case they have personnally seen. Her psoriasis covers 90% of her body. Because of the medications she has had and the disease itself doctor's have pretty much written her off. Her kidneys and liver have been damaged so not much can be prescribed to her. She is totally bed ridden at this point and only takes Extra Strength Tyelnol for her pain. She also takes prescribed sodium bicarb to slow down the formation of kidney stones. I would greatly appreciate any alternative treatment for either aspect of this disease. I have heard that emu oil is used as a treatment for both arthritis and psoriasis. Does anyone have experience. I know there are no miracles but anything to ease the severe symtems will be welcomed.
