Guest guest
Hello, First, I apologize for not getting my Cat's Claw journal posted to the group yet. We have had some unexpected happenings and I have not been able to get online and post. Sorry for the delay...I haven't been taking it consistently to be able to journal my progress accurately. I am wondering if anyone in this group has had a sudden onset of numbness/tingling sensation in the legs and feet(below the knee) ? This afternoon I noticed that my feet were numb feeling as if they had fallen asleep and were just " waking up " ...and I still have the same sensation many hours later. I do have some knee swelling and pains, but this strange feeling is completely new. Previously I only had intermittent numbness-not continuous for hours like this. My skin around my waist also feels unusually sensitive and sore to the touch (like it does when you have the Flu or something). Regularly ,I feel the same soreness in my forearms and my calves-but not in my waist area. I am very concerned because of all the Enbrel/MS posts, and I did take Enbrel for 8 weeks then stopped and then did another 5 weeks until I stopped all together 2 weeks ago . I did not take any Cat's Claw today and I have not been taking very much of it lately-so I do not think it is related. Currently I have no ins cov'g , so going to my rheum is not really an option unless absolutely necessary(have to self pay). Could this all be PA related ? Or should I be concerned it could be a type of Neuropathy or a side effect of Enbrel-like MS ? Anyone else's experiences would help me very much! Thanks!
