Hi ,

I just got the dx of MS. What I know so far is that MS is a very unpredictable

disease. You can have 1 attack and never have another or you can have

intermittent attacks that leave with anywhere from no to major limitations. It

can be progressive or it can relapse and remit. It's pretty complicated. The

thing I do know is that there are DMARDs for MS just like there are for PA.

Additionally, they have immediate medications to help with any present sxs.

Wish I could tell you more than that, but I'm new to this. I hope you find out

that you do NOT have MS. Please keep me posted, and feel free to email me off

list to talk about this.

Best,

Jayson

Re: [ ] MS and pa?

Interesting timing...My rheumy just scheduled me for

an MRI to rule out MS...

I've been on Remicade for 15 months. My PA is much

better, but I have continue to have problems on my

left side with muscle tension & spasms, and " pins and

needles " in the left of my face. All of my left-side

molars have been repaired or crowned. And judging from

the condition of my favorite shoes, I drag my left

foot a bit...

All of these left-side complaints were present before

Remicade, and I assumed they were related to PA in the

C-spine. What am I facing if they diagnose MS?
