LIke most everyone else, tried this that and other, combined them, you name

it. Found our way to end just about all of the Lyme, still Herx when treating,

however all the Lyme symptoms are basically under control or gone.

What is so frustrating is the chronic fatigue is totally debilitating. If it

were not for that, the world would hold endless possibilities. To not be in

pain, foginess, the other zillion things that accompany Lyme is great.

However, to be so fatigued you can't do a thing still means no life.

What do people find works for them. Open to all possibilities. Ready to join

the living again.

I don't have much of a good answer for this, as I am struggling with it myself,

but I know having my adrenals and thyroid checked was helpful.  I am on meds for

both now.

Also taking IV Glutathione twice a week is a great help.

And lastly, don't rule out stimulants; Adderall can make the difference between

laying around frustrated on the couch and having an almost normal day for me.

Stimulants are a common treatment for the excessive daily sleepiness typical of

narcolepsy. Provigil is first line treatment, but a lot of prescription plans

won't cover it if you don't have the diagnosis. My daughter prefers adderall &

dexedrine. Others are ritalin, concerta, vyvanse... all the drugs prescribed

for ADHD. All have significant risk factors. Finding the best one & right dose

is very individual. They don't take away the underlying sleepiness, but lots

of time they can make it possible for you to function.

Be careful of the stimulants and get a Dr to monitor. IF you have the slightest

bit of dysautonomia from the Lyme then it may make it worse--it did just that

for Evan and about 4 or 5 adults I know.

Im bigger on natural--look up " natural stimulants " or " herbal stimulants " and

again go carefully.
