Guest guest
That's great news! It's always easier when there's a ray of hope on the horizon. Hi all-- Wanted to post good news since I am always on here moaning about how I can't take it any more. We just saw LLMD this afternoon and he said Child #2 on the brink of being well! Child #1 is " not as sick as she feels, " meaning, babs and bart are fighting for her and fighing her, but they are on the brink of being beaten too. So she is out of school until January, at her request, and we'll just see what happens after that. She may stay out until next year or go back, depending on what she wants to do. Phew! Could it be that the nightmare of the last 13 years is about to end? Wanted to share this exciting development as it has been a totally unfun ride and I am very excited at the prospect of normalcy. He hasn't had any problems, except some occasional watery diarrhea with it. I know this is a group to discuss our children but many of us Moms are also dealing with Lyme. My doctor wants to switch me to Rifampin half dose for a month and increase to full dose after the 1st month. Wondering what to expect and how in the world am I going to fit in my supplements when I have to take this 2 hrs after dinner plus Minocycline at Breakfast and Dinner. Guest guest
that is awesome news!!!! can i ask though how the doctor came up with these outcomes? how does he know child #1 is " not as sick as she feels " how does he know they are being defeated? i have never heard that before and would like to know how my dr. can identify that too. thanks On Thu, Nov 4, 2010 at 5:48 PM, Natasha Moiseyev <nmoiseyev@...>wrote: > > > Hi all-- > > Wanted to post good news since I am always on here moaning about how I > can't > take it any more. > > We just saw LLMD this afternoon and he said Child #2 on the brink of being > well! Guest guest
I guess he figured it out because he did neurological testing and he had a blood test that had encouraging numbers. He remembered how she was last year when she felt this sick, but she was like that for months after starting meds (and frankly before). He could tell the Lyme symptoms are way down and the classic Bartonella was back but even that was not as crazy as it was before as far as symptoms I guess. She has not had a migraine in months. Beyond that I have no idea. I was so excited to hear this that I just didn't know or care what more to ask. ________________________________ From: le Handy <kndplus2@...> Sent: Thu, November 4, 2010 6:20:07 PM Subject: Re: [ ] Roller aoster central, but great news! that is awesome news!!!! can i ask though how the doctor came up with these outcomes? how does he know child #1 is " not as sick as she feels " how does he know they are being defeated? i have never heard that before and would like to know how my dr. can identify that too. thanks On Thu, Nov 4, 2010 at 5:48 PM, Natasha Moiseyev <nmoiseyev@...>wrote: > > > Hi all-- > > Wanted to post good news since I am always on here moaning about how I > can't > take it any more. > > We just saw LLMD this afternoon and he said Child #2 on the brink of being > well! Guest guest
This round she will be on Alinia, Avalox, Malarone, Plaquenil and Suprax for all three. I can't remember which is for which -- I think the Alinia, Malarone and Plaquenil are maybe for the babesia and Bartonella and the Plaquenil and Suprax are for Lyme and may also help the Bartonella. ________________________________ From: <ecckwalk@...> Sent: Thu, November 4, 2010 8:38:40 PM Subject: Re: [ ] Roller aoster central, but great news!
