Guest guest
I've had PA for about a year and a half and believe that I am now in remission. Initially, when I was considering going on Enbrel (which I've been taking since my diagnosis was confirmed), I asked my internist if I had to be on the drug when I was not experiencing symptoms. She said no but that was something that I needed to " remind " her about because doctors tended to ignore this issue and it was OK to go off the drugs when you were symptom free. I have a feeling my rheumatologist would disagree but am wondering what any of you have been advised to do when you experience a remission. I see my rheumy at the end of the month for a routine checkup and want to be prepared to discuss this with her. Thanks - in advance - for any input, advice you have.
